Same here. Kept being told off for, in my opinion, stating the obvious. It's deja vous.

Our performance deserved to be punished more than it was.
Lack of articulation maybe on his part.

It might have but why you would wish it upon yourself when points difference can count is bizarre. If he'd said we were lucky not to concede more OK, but wishing for a worse result is just stupid. Unless he wants the sack!

He's into buggery, thuggery and muggery ... not Shakespeare.
Eloquence is not his forte.

There's zero entertainment on offer and supposedly that's what it's all about.
How many other fans are just turning up out of habit ? When that habit gets broken it's going to be very hard to get it back.
Wane has to go, it's been more luck than anything this season that we're not in the same league position that Leeds are in and don't be in any doubt we're just as bad as they are.'"
Have you nicked and copied and pasted this post of our (saints) forum // Because if not, it looks very familiar to us if you replace Wane's name with Cunningham ?

| How's Wane getting the blame for individual errors, I am sure he told Sarginson to throw the ball on the floor on the first tackle or told Joel Tomkins to let Sneyd run straight past him????
We were woeful and deservedly lost and if he leaves this season then I wont be too disappointed but look at the players before the coach, some of them don't have the heart to play for us and I could name a few with question marks against.
When we held onto the ball we looked more than a match for them, but knocking on or throwing the ball on the floor isn't a coaching issue, its a player issue

Wane isn't being blamed for individual errors. The Sarginson error was embarrassing and only he is getting the blame for that.
Wane is being blamed for the fact the he is tactically inept and theres no where for him to hide because its clear as day and that its a fact.
I read an article/watched an interview the other day with Wane saying that we play 'different' than previous years. How on earth can be justify that? We're boring, robotic and tactically poor. He's claiming Sean O'Loughlin now has a different role in the team. How?
I'm just baffled by everything our team does at the minute. Nobody offers anything different because they're being coached to work in a system. The amount of times John Bateman made a run tonight and had the opportunity to offload was ridiculous and full credit it to him, but there was nobody backing him up because they were too busy setting up for the next play that is part of 'the system'.
I've backed Wane for a number of years now, but the tipping point for me was last year when we lost at Wire. Okay, we got to the grand final and every credit to the team and coaching staff for achieving that. But i was really ed off with the way we played last year and it has continued this year. For me, if there isn't silverware delivered this year, its time for Wane to leave Wigan.
Proof I know the experts on Sky don’t say that, but we do,” he added. “John Bateman has taken on a big role for us, Lockers has a different role in the side and people on the outside may not recognise that. Sam has got all that understanding to come in the flow of a game, and I’m sure he’ll be okay with it all.”

This is very much the issue.
Basic bash and barge tactics with a team equipped to play that way.
A lack of support runners because we are too busy setting up for plays rather than playing what is in front of us.
Our once infamous but very successful wrestle at the PTB is now a shambles with most other teams being more successful and better drilled at it than us.
The biggest problem is it is the same issue, week in, week out over and over again regardless of who is on the pitch. As the saying goes if you do what you have always done you will get what you have always got.
I believe this team has the potential to comfortably win SL, however they are bring sent to battle with a blunt sword and being asked to beat an enemy armed with machine guns.
Individual brilliance got us in a string position in the league, once that is contained by the opposition we are being totally found out.
I expect a big win against Leeds next week, I hope for one at least, and for some everything will be fine, normal service resumed etc, but it will only be another papering over the cracks, if it happens.

We are probably one the worst teams in the competition and haven't got the potential to win anything.
In the next few weeks we play teams who are lower than us in the league away Leeds, Salford, Cas and I think HKR. Can you honestly see us winning any of those games?
We have got absolutely nothing to offer..
I have seen more aggression from an U9's team. All this talk of "toughness" is absolute shoite. There isn't one guy in the entire squad and I include MM who could fight their way out of a paper bag. The softest mardest pack I have ever seen. Not one tackle hurts the opposition and as for wrestling well they can't even do that even though they must be in the "pit" all week.
We have backs who just can't pass. The pass from I think it was Smith from a PTB in the first half was so bad I genuinely couldn't believe it.
A bunch of lads with too much time on their hands who just can't play rugby.
Anyone who thinks that this shower of a club can win anything this season had better put down what they are smoking because it isn't legal.
These are not cracks these are fundemental issues and the fault is with the 3 wise men.

Wigan would quite possibly be very hard to beat given they had two quality halfbacks ... but they don't ... and as long as they don't ... they will have to play it rough and tough.
Not sure why they can't go out and get a couple.
Smith is hopeless.

| When Sneyd scored the first try, a fella near me remarked "Fancy a 7 scoring like that", or words to that effect. You's sure wait a long time to see it from our 7. I didn't think Hull were fantastic (they didn't need to be), but they were organised, combative, and took their chances.

| I think we are the most boring team in Super League. So dull. Same old plays.
Play 1 - short ball to prop
Play 2 - short ball to prop
Play 3 - Inside ball to a forward in the middle of the field
Play 4 - Same old move to the wing that stalls because the passing is poor/slow
Play 5 - Crap panic kick from Matty Smith
ALL GAME.
Time for change. I wouldn't like to see Wane sacked, just replaced when his contract is up.
