Your next two games against the Giants and Wigan need to see some improvement - otherwise fourth place could start to look tricky.
Might be worth an investment at the bookies though as Leeds have drifted out to fourth favourites, and you can get decent odds.'"
Strange comment as in your earlier post you seem to dismiss Wakey, Cas, Hull and HKR's chances.

My apologies. But lets be realistic. I won't be rushing be rushing to Mr Hill or Mr Ladbroke to put my hard earned on any of those. Wigan, Saints, Wire or Leeds on the other hand. Hull might be worth a punt on top 4 I suppose.

Depending on injuries to key players, I see Cas as dead certs for top 4, at least at the split.
Wigan and Warrington will be the other two.
I think we might see some real surprises in league standings this year.
Makes the league very interesting.

It would be good for Super League if you are right. Can't see it with Cas myself. Saints will finish above them. With a fit James Roby they are a different animal from the one that got beat at Salford. They have one of the best props in the league (along with Chris Hill). They've had dreadful luck with injuries over the last few years and that seems to be affecting others at the moment too. I can't see Saints missing top 4.
That leaves Leeds. They have given Cas a 5 point start but with 27 games left that's no worry for a club used to confounding the critics.
I actually backed Wire ante-post. Sandow and Gidley is the best pairing in the comp by a distance. It really may be the year of the Wolf!!!

Maybe beyond as well. They were pretty hot in the super 8s last time IIRC. They certainly blew us away at Headingley.

| Whoever finishes in the top 4 at the end of the season, I hope that the league is more congested when the leagues split. The early signs suggest that it will be and will make the Super 8's far more exciting than last year (when essentially the top 3 was decided even before the Super 8's started and 4th was decided after around 4 games).

| Quote: Aboveusonlypie "Hull just lost to Cas. The same Cas who have beaten Wakey (big deal) and drew with Hull KR (oh dear) in their previous two. So there's no form guide there. Hull beat Salford at home as we did and had a good win in France.
We have a good record in Hull. I suspect that they have more reason to fear this game than we do. A loss for them will take off the early season shine and the fans will turn on Radford again. A loss for us will give us a 3-1 record. I for one, will be more than happy with a start like that. A 4-0 start would be very nice indeed.
I expect a tougher game than the last few seasons, but nothing to fear really. Whilst our attack is misfiring - our defence has been very good. Tierney has confounded the critics (including me) and it's good to know that Wane has called it right yet again on a young player.'"
We like playing at KC because it very similar to DW in size and surroundings but with the conditions over the last couple of days can see it being a tight game like Catalan. High completion rate and a good kicking game will be key. If Wigan win it will be Matty Smith MOM loves these conditions

| under soil heating on at the kc, the pitch is totally different to wigans' paddy field, even in this weather it looks like a snooker table, dont expect too much muddy conditions, just rain!

| Great win over there, we are certainly grinding them out.
Our +16 points difference considering we're unbeaten says it all! Once we click on attack we will beat most teams.

| You can't knock the fight in this team can you! Fantastic result that. We can talk about letting another lead slip but with a young side blips like that are to be expected but to keep coming back is fantastic.
I've said from the start of the year we just need to keep picking them off and wait for the injured players to get back. To be missing Joel Tomkins, Sam Tomkins, Micky Mac and Lockers tonight and still get the victory in those circumstances is very pleasing.

| That will do the team the power of good. The talk this week was all about Hull, how big their pack is, the good form they are in...etc.
To lose Lockers just before kick off was a massive blow but what a win!! I had to make do with twitter updates so if anyone could let us know how the team performed overall that would be great!

| That's the issue you get with not having video refs at all games I suppose. You'd still expect a tough judge to spot that though.

| Coaches comments
Wigan head coach Shaun Wane"We showed some character and I am very proud of all my players, it was an outstanding effort.
"We had virtually no ball in the second half and our completion rate was at 70%.
"The two drop goals were really good ones, but I'm happy because I believe Hull will beat many teams. Teams will come here and get pummelled.
"We are four from four and not played - we will improve for Leeds next week, another challenge and the players are buzzing."'"
