It would be nice to think the club would now show the game live on Wigan TV to appease those of us who can't make it up on Thursdays

Any games moved away from the DW would be a problem for me and the dozen or so kids I bring up on the train from Swinton

I don't think that will be allowed by Sky/Superleague, although it is a very good idea. See you Saturday, don't spend too long dancing in the pub on Friday night.

The only positive out of this farce is that we are not playing it on the plastic at Widnes, it is now getting beyond a joke with the Plastics calling all the shots, we need to start standing our ground ( no pun intended ), where would the DW be without rugby, shafted , we need to start looking at building our own ground,
6 Thursday night games already before any super eight or play off games, no wonder crowds will drop !

They're still playing Sunday/Thursday, just a week earlier. Surprised they agreed to this given it was a problem the following week???????

One very simplistic solution (I'm a simple man!) - why don't Wigan Warriors buy the ground off Latics? As far as I am aware, Welan gave the ground to Latics (could be wrong) so it would be a nice cheque for them! We could then call the shots about who could play when.

The ground is still a very nice earner for Whelan. There's not a kitten in a blender's chance that he and/or the Pathetics would give that up.
There's no surprise that nothing in the announcement even indirectly refers to the soccer match as the rationale. Thus not providing any sticks for to beat them with and allowing them to hide behind marketing bovine excrement.
Already had my two-penn'orth via the sweet little anodyne "contact us" page, if everyone griping here did the same, at least they might actually realise that perhaps this is getting more than little annoying: and they'd not be able to hide behind supporter apathy.

Wigan council own 41%

This shows a change of attitude by the football club since DW moved over. For all the positive platitudes voiced by IL about the football club I have yet to see anything at all coming from the other direction. The new owner seems to be keen to curry favour from his hard core fans.

I've already emailed the club reference this. I have friends arriving from Belgium to watch this game, flights booked and paid for and tickets purchased. The way the club has treated its supporters over the past couple of years is disgraceful. I will definitely not be renewing my season ticket next year, I will pick and choose my matches, if this is the only way I can get my point across then so be it.

Just about ready to walk away . Should play all games on Thursday that's the way it's heading. Just as well all my arrangements for Saturday are non refundable or they could shock that as well

The club knowing all these problems exist but keep quiet because it might effect season ticket sales is bordering on theft .
