A friendly with little to no away fans too.

What i meant was that the club is promoting the game but the RFL is doing little as usual to promote these games as was the case when the Magic weekends were played in Edinburgh and Cardiff.

20,000 not great? I think that would be a very good crowd indeed for your game to be honest.

Brisbane only bringing 18 players over.

I'll be amazed and delighted if we get 20K on for this game considering away support will be single figures.

And it is nowt more than an overblown friendly at the end of the day. I'd originally thought that this would be some sort of round-robin affair, 2 friendlies & a game I really couldn't give a monkey's about hardly gets me juices flowing.

It'd be a good crowd no doubt but I think you'd have to be looking at a sell out to think it was amazing.

Hopefully we'll get somewhere around that figure and with sell outs at Saints and Warrington (surely it will) then I think they can call the series a success. It's set up doesn't make it the easiest sell IMO with one 'proper' games following two friendlies.

Just bought three tickets for the missus and kids, I'll be watching the game from some bar in Benidorm next Saturday

Only 4 quadrants in the North stand are £45, most of which are sold. The other areas in the North stand are normal matchday prices.

The South stand is £22.50 for an adult and even cheaper in the West stand.

Before I get jumped on I would say anything over 15,000 would be good.

But to say there will be no "away" fans is a bit disingenuous. All three games will benefit from neutrals using the RL 3 game ticket.

I don't see the big fuss sky, Wigan and Warrington are making of these games. They are notning more than friendly games in reality.

Could be bad game if pick up injuries for a friendly game. I just don't see the point in them tbh.

If I was smith or wane Id rather not play the game.

Agreed, I just really can't get into it. Probably won't even watch it on TV.

It's a good warm-up for Brisbane but that's about it.
