| If team has looked like strangers for the last four games Wane needs to take some of the blame because I am pretty certain not all the changes he has made have been forced on him.
There is not time to be resting or rotating players when he needs to get them playing as a team. He has had injuries to deal with but then has often rested a player or two at the same time.
It's as if he is coaching a junior side and he wants to give everyone a game before the end of the season!
Whoever is first team is, if they are fit they need to play from now on or we will exit the playoffs in round one with another bunch of strangers representing Wigan rather than a team.

| Personnel isn't the problem IMO, there's clearly an issue with attitude and preparation. One bad performance against a lower team is forgivable, but we have now been absolutely awful away at Wakefield, Hull KR, Bradford and Widnes. Every time we've put a strong "on paper" squad out and had players coming back from injury we've been well off the pace. We've had 2 weeks out of 4 off to really push for top spot and build momentum going in to the play offs, at this rate it's pretty conceivable we could be drop out of the top 4. The fact that could happen and we could still end up being champions is ridiculous, I really can't wait til we get rid of this awful league system.

| I think that if you look at our performance over the season we haven't really played well but we can put some of that down to the fact that we have had a lot of injuries for a lot of the time. We are now in the position were we are getting players back ( Green 2 weeks ago, Micky Mac, Thornley etc etc) and are hoping to play a stronger team nearer to full strength. Unfortunately we need these players to gel again fairly quickly and get back on form.
We all know we play a very "structured" game and other teams have often said "We know what Wigan are going to do but we just cant stop it". Unfortunately that structured game needs a lot of work to keep it to the standard that is required. Tonight for me showed how we haven't got back to that standard. How many times did we move the ball across the line (especially towards our left wing) and the ball was passed onto the floor? Our "structured" game was very slow and a bit shoddy which allows the opposition to get players into our line. I know conditions weren't good but we still struggled.
Our problem is that we only have two more games before the play offs to get ourselves sorted and lets face it the games are against Leeds and Wire so they wont be easy games that we can use as training sessions.

We won't win it from any position unless we improve 100% and i'm not sure we can. Leeds and Saints look stronger than us.
Seems like we have lost our edge completely, hope we can get it back.

An error strewn Warriors made a rod for their own back as they went down in torrential rain at The Select Security Stadium. Wane said: "I didn't need to explain much, the players knew the answers. 19 errors, I think 17 penalties, you're never going to beat anybody with stats like those.
"We were really poor with the ball and lacked decent contact. They handled the conditions really well, much better than we did and they were worthy winners."
The game came after a week off for the Warriors due to the Challenge Cup. Wane said: "It's no excuse, we had a great week, they were just the better team."
On the upcoming home games with Leeds and Warrington, Wane said: "We've got to remain positive, I've got seven days to make sure we perform against Leeds. I know the players really well and they know me and my standards, we've dipped way below them tonight and I'm fuming. I wish we could play Leeds tomorrow."
Wane refused to be drawn on the 4G pitch at Widnes saying: "They do it every week and we come here once a season so it's nothing to do with that."
Michael McIlorum played his first game since the Widnes home fixture and Wane said he felt he'd "gone well" as did the returning Iain Thornley.
Wane expects several players to return next week for the Big One 5.

| How does he always seem to conclude we had a great week of training when we go into games often looking like the whole squad only just met on that day? Baffling.
A great week of training would ensure we're not "poor with the ball" and "lack decent contact" when it comes to the game, otherwise the week of training is a complete waste of time.

| I might well be alone in saying this but I for one am livid that we are being taken for mugs by Wane his team selection tonight and Vs KR has shown zero respect to those that have played bloody well recently namely Williams & Powell, Don't get me wrong I'm all for picking your best side ready for the play offs but it's not like Wane has even done that we've had three players missing for 8 weeks plus and those that have filled in have stood up and done well yet as soon as those injured players are fit again they waltz straight back into the starting line up (unless your name is Joe Burgess one of this years stand out youngsters in the competition he gets shoved into the reserves in favour of a far inferior player in Thornley IMO). not from the bench like you might expect after lengthy absences. I'm sorry but it's not right, As the saying goes if it ain't broke don't fix it. We beat Salford comfortably at home, Green is declared fit again so he dumps Williams to the bench then tonight McIllorum & Thornley are fit and Williams & Powell are removed althogether it's disgusting how he's treated them he's shown more respect to a player who won't even be at Wigan next season, I'd like Shaun Wane to take a page out of the Catalans book and show Green the same amount of respect as Leon Pryce I'd rather concentrate on working on a new 6 & 7 partnership ready for next season that way it takes less games to gel and use Green either sparingly or from the bench, and if that results in us missing out on the Grand Final then I'd be gutted but at least we'd have done what's right by those that are actually going to be at the club next season. It's the same with the Tomkins situation with Salford he was more interested in being respectful to Salford than doing the right thing for Wigan when McIllorum got injured.

| I didn't go last night but It is obvious it was a poor performance. We've not been playing well for quite a while now. We did a similar thing last year and that didn't turn out too badly so I'm not too concerned yet.
I don't know what people expect Wane to say publicly. He has to remain positive and be careful of being too critical. Confidence is such a massive factor on performance, that's what he needs to restore.
1 win out of Leeds and Wire will put us in the top 4, anything can happen from there, IMO it is winnable from anywhere in the 8 anyway. I'm not saying we'll win it again as we seem to be well off the pace at the moment but we are not out of it yet either.

| Hanging around for jollies with the union boys in very expensive surroundings for the sort layoff doesn’t seem to have been such a great idea now I would say. A chair and a whip would have been a better and less costly way to have spent their time. A bit of training in the rain wouldn’t go amiss either.
