| Quote: Bill Sonny "It's just strange how anonymous or 'danger' players are. Sam Tomkins, when can you remember in a game him actually attacking the line recently? Beats me. Josh Charnley? Unfortunately Ryan Hall showed him how to be an England standard winger this evening, I didn't even notice he played. So many missed tackles, beaten and battered in the collision every time Scott Taylor didn't run it forward.... Just plain awful.
We peak in April, that's it.'"
Can hardly blame Charnley when he never got a pass in an attacking position all game

| Whilst in all honesty tonight's result was pretty meaningless in the grand scheme of things, the manner of the defeat was worrying , we seem clueless in attack and as someone has already said the tackling was poor ,Leeds were allowed to offload the ball far too much..We need to get back to the way we played up until June or we have no chance in the play-offs...Huddersfield can be beaten if we improve and we stop Brough

| Players like Sam and Josh will rarely look spectacular if the forwards don't dominate, or at least hold their own. Leeds has something like 65% field position giving their ball players the position to do their stuff.

| In the grand scheme of things the game means little. Either way it's a tough game next week.
Both teams will have wanted (and needed) a battle hardner and they got that. I feel though, and i could be wrong that leeds seemed as if they will have come out of that game energized, whereas wigan looked battered.

No, not really blaming him for the loss as such, just generally speaking he did nothing, but then that can be labelled at maybe 14 players who played tonight. It's clear that some of them just aren't good enough to play for Wigan

| Taylor gave his all tonight IMO, he's been our top player over the last few weeks. Only front rower who was making yardage really.

Got to agree with that, results against the top four tell the tale of the lack of quality in the team.
Lets hope by some miracle it can change for next week !

| What was telling was the fact that when Goulding went off Leeds opened us up on our right

| I didn't think we were poor tonight - I actually thought that was our best performance for a while. Leeds were superb and we defended very courageously for the most part. We varied our attack at times as well with the halves throwing flat passes instead of always throwing it out the back.
We had two clear opportunities in the first half that we should have taken and Thornley's try should have been given.
To lose O'Loughlin is a hammer blow and it is very obvious when he's not playing. But I'm not ready to give up on the playoffs yet.
Andy Powell was great in patches.

| Genuinely not being sarcastic. Physically the signs are there. Faz and Moose for the first time in months got looked dominant and got over the top of the defence. H was also looking in good form pre head injury. MM put in another physical game.
We have 1 week to gell, but physically I think we look in great shape. It is the coaches job now to make a team that has not played together in a while tick.
I am more confidant than ever that we may well do the double. It's tough but to me it is more possible than I expected.
As for Powell, he will be a real asset on his early performances.

Double? You're a braver man than me, that was our best team out there tonight and we had nothing

Are you snorting illegal substances lad? We got absolutely knocked from pillar to post and couldn't get out of our own half.

| We had no ball, a team that has not played together in weeks, the signs are there though for me.
I did not say we would do the double, but I am more confident now than I have been all year that we can do it.
