Feel cheated? That's probably the most entertaining game there has been at the DW all season.
I'm not really in the camp of telling people what to do I just can't understand the logic in paying to watch a game and leaving when the scores are tied with a minute to go. Do they not want to see the outcome?

You really are talking sh*t, pal.
That was a superb effort by those Wigan kids, who clearly are almost at Hull's level. Only one moment of inexperience saved the Airlie Birds' bacon - whatever they come on here later and try to claim.
To whinge about such an exciting match, and such a massive effort from the lads who are the future of our club is beyond churlish (and also very strongly suggests that you weren't even there - which is equally pathetic).
No-one I know left early or felt cheated by the manager. It was one of the best and most competitive games I've seen at the DW all season, and everyone was saying the same in the pub after.
If anyone should be irritated, it's the Hull fans - whose team only just managed to scrawp a win over a team composed largely of U19s.

Apparently out average age was 21, theirs 22 if you visit the Hull board. Did they have an Andy Powell in the side? I don't know. It also doesn't matter. The writing is on the wall so to speak.

I'm not whinging about the match - more the selection policy and the lack of respect being shown to the competition by teams who are trying to manipulate their final league position in order to avoid going to Warrington in round 1 of the playoffs. Lord knows what is going to happen next Thursday when neither side wants to win!
Remember the howls of disgust last season on this board when SW did the same at Widnes and got beat?

| I was looking forward to seeing these lads play after watching them in the u19's. I wanted to see how Hampshire would step up at stand off instead of full back, and think he easily could shove Green out of the starting line up. Burgess and Manfredi were vulnerable out wide but I put that down to the DW having quite a wide pitch, they're probably just not used to it. Gelling was sh*t hot. Thornley played well, Powell was a massive improvement on his debut. I was expecting them to tire towards the last 20 as it's a completely different intensity, plus there's a huge size difference. They did a brilliant job.

| I am almost certain Leeds will be trying to win on Thursday and will be very suprised if Wigan are not (more than likeley Wigan will put a full strength team out) Leeds are certainly not afraid of Wire in fact all things equal they would prefer that to going to the Giants , unfortunatley with Leeds still trying to get long term injured players game time i see nothing but a Wigan win .
But come the play offs ??????????

Considering that they had Whiting, Yeaman, Houghton, Tickle and Horne in the 17 they must have had a couple of four year olds in there to balance it out.

| It is a weird one, I suppose they must just hate crowds/traffic. I don't really mind them so much, the ones who leave as soon as they know we've lost, gobbing off about how rubbish x player is are the ones that do my nut in. A large section of the Brigantes seemed to do this

I'm sorry I am a Hull and sorry to disappoint you but I'm not going to come on hear and claim any thing in my opinion you deserved the win tonight with the effort and play from a team basically made up of plays on the fringe of your squad. I was disappointed with the crowd size considering you just won the cup, if the rolls were reversed the KC would of been rocking to cheer the boys home what ever team we decided to play.
But back to my point well played future looks bright for the plays that are coming throu. O on a side note what happened to that young fullback we had in lone from you last year (can't for the life of me remember his name) thought he has going to be the next big thing I was very impressesed while he was with us.

Aye I think our fans are perhsps too used to winning trophies. The easy (no disrespect intended) run didn't help. The FB you mention, Matty Russell, went to Gold Coast mate
