Never said that, but I know for a fact that it gets incredibly boring watching games that are remembered for incompetent refereeing decisions where the ref has all the time in yhe world to get it right. Would love to hear his reasons for giving it...

| Thought there were quite a few obstructions not given and KR were lying on, then again I didn't think Charnley's first was a try

| Im quite suprised about some of the posts on here, I thought Silwerwood was awful last night but for BOTH teams. If anything, I thought Hull KR got more decisions than us, he penalised us on our own line time after time for lying on and offside when Hull KR were at it all night, it was quite clear the tactics they came with and they seemed to get away with it. The Charnley decision was dubious but I haven't seen it back yet properly, however that was the VR not Silverwood.

Correct !
I mean the only way any neutral (aka non wigan fans) would enjoy it is if wigan got beat so it must be the referee who created this injustice?
And for us wigan fans I think we should worry more about dropped ball on 1st 2nd 3rd tackles coming out our own half than questioning the penalties we concede off the back of it first?
Not saying I liked Silverwoods display but we should fix what we can fix first.

| Real shame. We will never know who should have won this game as it was so polluted by very poor decisions both ways.
The Charnley try was as bad as our offside try given a Magic weekend.

| I think the Dobson try should have been disallowed though as it was as blatant an obstruction as i have ever seen yet was not even referred

| This is the Sky script isn't it? If I recall correctly, there were 3 VR decisions which were debatable and could have been given, and 2 went against us. Hansen was taken out for Dobson's try. HKR were lucky, but they shoudn't let that detract from a decent performance.
We were lucky to see Budgie's excellent debut, Rocky again showing signs of a wonderful attacking talent and Luaki making a far stronger comeback than we could have expected.

| Quote: Albion "Hull KR were slowing us down with lying on and all sorts when they beat us the other week. They are the worst side in SL discipline-wise IMO.
There was no obstruction in the Hull KR try. If you think it was obstruction, then a lot of Wigan trys should be chalked off for the same reasoning too. Bad read from Hansen.
Forward pass from Eden to Gleeson was incorrectly called. You score off the next play and go in at HT 10-10.
Charnley's first VR call was a shocking decision, it was CLEARLY not a try. His second VR call was not so clear cut and initially I thought it was no try, but on the super zoom it appears it was a try.
That's the difference. You can use all the justification in the world about swings and roundabouts etc, but the one that CLEARLY wasn't a try was somehow given. You must be able to understand their frustrations.'"
Yet, given the season as a whole, which is the only way you can judge these things, is IS a case of swings and roundabouts. You may not like that - especially when Wigan appear to benefit, but you need to accept it.
Hull KR once won a game at Wigan because Silverwood allowed another tackle to be played AFTER the half-time hooter had gone. I didn't see too many neutrals complaining about that, so forgive me if I don't take your whingeing too seriously.

| To the hull KR fan who was complaining that only one of their players got binned after a team warning. I don't think he was binned because of the team warning, it was more for the disgusting attempt to snap Ryan Hampshires ankle by twisting it when he was already tackled and on the floor.

| Wigan looked poor last night and got few refs calls but I always say " playing bad and winning is sign of good team" and also had few out.
I wouldn't be to worried about last night if I was a Wigan fan. Your top of the league, in the final of the challenge cup so it's not bad.

| At the game I said Charnleys second try wasn't a try, and having watched it again I still wouldn't give it.. However, his third one was, and Lauakis was. Initially Lauaki was just short but rolled the ball onto the line whilst remaining in contact at all time.
Watching Dobsons try that was as clear a case of obstruction as you will see. It wasn't a poor read by Hansen, the HKR player ran straight into him. Had Hansen played the "old soldier" and gone to ground it would have been brought to the attention of the referee, instead he still tried to make that tackle on Dobson.
Oh, and the forward pass on half time definitely was. It was directly in front of my seat in the West Stand.
