| Quote: the wrestler "Wigan let off the gas after an awesome 20 minutes in the second half. Not to take away from warringtons awesome 3rd try.'"
"off the gas"? They were blowing out there s the. Forwards. Doing wish fm commentary I was sat sideline and I saw Hansen come off blowing his lungs like a 90 year old asthmatic he'd given so much. At one point we had Burke and Crosby propping with Spencer, mossop and Hansen off. Quite clearly we were a bench prop short. So to compete so well should be lauded.

| Wigan were great tonight, as were wire. I'm hoping we see a first choice Wigan v Wire in the grand final. Old Trafford deserves it. Huge respect for Wigans youth. Not sure why people are talking about Wires creaking bones we absorbed huge pressure in that second half, and had enough to come back against my expectations. Top, top game. Was pleasing to see the wire fans in the north stand applauding the Wigan players off at the end, and the Wigan fans applauding back. A great exhibition.

| Awesome Match with brilliant skill, and intensity from start to finish. 34 fully committed players who all put their bodies on the line. Even Briers took his dinner jacket off.
As good as anything from NRL, even origin.

I thought that that one action alone, showed that Wire fans have come of age, winning graciously is the mark of intelligent fans.

Perhaps i phrased it wrong, it is as you say. I just meant that in the ten minutes leading up to the last 2 warrington tries, wigan were not dominating as they had been.

| Am I right in saying that only Gelling, Smith and Richards did not come through your youth set up. If so at is amazing the way they competed with out worldly wise team of stars.
Great game and our fans even stayed to clap Tomkins off after his TV duties. I bet that doesn't happen very often at away grounds

| Fantastic game. Having watched Salford v Saints on Friday night it was like watching a different league. In fact it was like watching two leagues above!

| Very impressed with your ''youngsters''. They played magnificantly.
It really could have gone either way and at 10-12 down I didn't think we'd be able to come back.
If you had of won I couldn't have complained. It was that close.
I'd love to see the stats - our defence was working night shift - let alone overtime...

Why will they be weeping?
They are on the verge of a series win over the Aussies, have global coverage and are all paid a lot more than these RL players. So I'm sure crying about how good an irrelevant league fixture was between two club sides is well down their list.
