One would deduce Hock is still a registered player with Wigan.
The Parra/Hock deal is with Wigan, how can Koukash buy that out if Wigan don't agree to it?
The Salford good Doctor hasn't been in RL very long but he's knows how to create rumours when nothing is happening.

Wigan might be prepared to release Hock to another British club, so long as it's for silly megabucks.

The last time Hock was linked with Aus, there were rumours that he didn't even want to go.

Hansen was brought up in Salford wasn't he? That makes sense if he wants to go there and understandable in my eyes.

Why? He hasn't been there for most of his adult life and came through our academy as a youngster so wasn't there then either. Why would he have a particular affinity with the place?

No offence to Salfordians but it doesn't strike me as place that inspires that kind of affinity and (no doubt much to their annoyance) is seen as a suburb of Manchester.

"SALFORD could be poised to try and ambush Gareth Hock’s move to Parramatta – as they keep track of Warriors forward Harrison Hansen.
New owner Dr Marwan Koukask has given coach Brian Noble the green light to recruit heavily to turnaround their fortunes next season.
And though Hock has agreed a contract with the Eels for 2014, speculation was intensifying last night that the 29-year-old may stay in Super League.
Parramatta have paid Wigan a six-figure transfer for the England Test player, who is currently playing on loan at Widnes after a bitter fall-out with hometown club. And any U-turn would need both of those parties to reach a settlement.

Intriguingly, former Wigan and GB star Bobbie Goulding took to Twitter on Wednesday to suggest Salford were poised to make a “massive signing in the pack for next season” who he described as being “one of the best three forwards in this country.” That player is thought to be Hock, with some suggestion he has got cold feet about leaving for Australia. Widnes have Hock on loan and if rumours are true they are paying a fee to Wigan for his services. As the player is in the middle of a 5 year deal with Wigan why would Wigan sell him for mega bucks when they can loan him out for mega bucks and insist he doesn't play against the club.
Salford may sign him but it could very well be a loan signing.

Let them have him full time and give us chance to get in to the waster. I can't wait for an opportunity for both our players and fans to give him hell. After the way this club and its supporters backed him through all the rubbish over the years we deserve an opportunity to vent our feelings IMO.

I'm hoping he's going to get some stick on Sunday! Although I'm guessing most Wiganers, including myself may still be in the pub. He's not worth missing a pint for.
