No more than he's going to respond to your jaw-breaker on the Andy Powell thread.

| 'Down under' the main coaches have academic qualifications.
Have we not learned at Wigan with McGuire, Monie and Lowe from the past ?
You have to be akin to a chess grand master to rule in Rugby League.

| Shaun Wane in looking-after-number-one shock. What's the problem here? Anyone believing that he would choose to stay in this mickey mouse comp if NRL came calling is a fool. Where is the step up from Wigan? Plus there would be an opportunity for someone to move to Sidney as his interpreter.

Can any of you guys ever imagine an NRL club wanting to poach Wane from Wigan when he has not really done anything as of yet?'"
Maybe a club has already asked about his availability, hence his talk about the move.
He isn't just going to come out and randomly talk about the NRL.

| I didnt't see anything in thqt interview that stated he expects to be coaching or will be coaching in the NRL. To me he addressed rumours that he was leaving, whilst als o stating his desire to test himself in the NRL.
Big deal?

Why talk about the NRL ?
Why hasn't he took the option up of another year?
Why is his mrs down under on holiday ?

No there is nothing wrong with ambition but it helps if there is some credibility attached to it and it is not credible a coach with less than two years first team SL coaching experience is going to get a job in the NRL now or in the future as no one knows (including Wane) how his career will pan out. As such he'd have been better keeping his mouth shut as it makes him look a bit silly.
I am not sure why any British SL coach (never mind Wane) thinks they would get a job in the NRL.
Quote: Wigan Peer "For the record, a coach in another sport has just been given a rather high profile job, with only this trophy as a manager.

A fine illustration of the fact you only get the top jobs when you have proved yourself over a number of years not 18 months.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

I really don't see where he has "Made himself look silly", i think any coach would have answered these questions in a similar way. Some may have been more reticent, but i like his honesty when asked a question. I would rather that some mealy mouthed people you see talking all around a subject, rather than being honest.
But, like SW, you are entitled to your opinion, as i am mine...

Dave, honest question:
Has there EVER been a time in your life where you have been 100% content with all things regarding Wigan RLFC? (As in, the way the club was being run and the team was performing on the pitch).
And if so, when was it?
