2572.jpg Ah, good taste!
What a dreadful thing!
Taste is the enemy of creativeness.

| Quote: Rogues Gallery "Hampshire ran the game without breaking sweat.
I was very impressed with Oliver Gildhart he looks to have good feet and hands and couldn't believe the size that Nick Gregson has put on.'"
agreed with what you say. also impressed by Faz Jnr and the wingers. Both of them look like they have the potential to be challenging Paddy for a spot in the next 1-2 years.
Thought Warrington played better in the second half, and arguably looked more dangerous when they went down to 12 !
Both teams had very exciting backs, and each could have scored another 20 points with a bit more composure.

Rooney should have been sent off very early for a very cheap elbow shot (14:42).

I missed it at the game but I'm not really surprised. Both he and Callum Wright have "nasty streaks" that need to be eliminated from their games.

| The replay is now on the service. The shocker red card is at 1 minute 17 ish. And btw I don't think the commentator sounds too bad. Tough gig on your own I suspect.

| Hampshire is head and shoulders above the rest. Once Williams is fit they should destroy teams at U19 level.Gregson impressed me and his footwor. He made a mug of the Wire defender that got sent off. Austin looks good too. Wright needs to stay light. He looks like a chunky monkey compared to U16 level and less effective. Tierney needs to straighten up more.

| What has happened to Warrington's Micky Learmonth ?
Former England player who now plays off the bench and made no impact whatsoever.
The Wigan pack completely dominated and kept Ben Currie very quiet.

| is it just me, but when you look at the profile of Connor Farrell from the back he has the stance and posture of a young Andy Farrell, look at the wire game at 33:59 on the video.
The lads i work with thought it was an old game from 95-96 and that it was Andy...LOL!!!!!

I didn't get a teamsheet and it was only when I was walking off I was talking to one of the Wigan scouts who mentioned Learmonth, I didn't realise that he had played. Maybe he's still living in Yorrksire and the travelling is getting to him. He was a fine player a couple of years back.

Williams is hoping to be back on Thursday at Huddersfield, Burgess is another couple of weeks away. Chris Taylor should be back in around 4 - 6 weeks.
Gregson looked big strong and fast and I thought Oliver Gildhart was excellent and for Wire I was impressed with their fullback.
Hampshire looks a class apart, he appears to have so much time. I'm really looking forward to seeing him on the firmer pitches.

| to me it seemed Hampshire had so much time on the ball as the platform was laid by a strong and aggressive pack getting over the gain line and making the ball available quickly after a tackle

| I managed to catch some of the game on Wigan TV which was great as living where I do attending the U19's is not really on the day after the main event.
I really enjoyed what I saw and Wigan TV "worked" for the most art though I did get a lock up right when Wigan scored their third try!
Slightly off topic, did anyone who has Wigan TV get the 15 min highlights from the Friday night Wire game in 4:3 format?
I stream the footage from an iPad to an Apple TV and the U19's was full 16:9 but the Wire highlights were always 4:3.
