No, none of the above. Any more suggestions? Maybe it's the fact that its two out of the four points a season we come home with after playing you.
P.S don't try too hard to be bitter, lighten up, its a bit of fun. We all know the two points count for nothing and its the bragging rights that count at this stage of the season. I for one am a little disappointed that the game is a Bit early in the season. Enjoy the game!

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

Complacency and possibly fatigue set in a bit on Sunday I felt. I've paid over £500 on Season Tickets and hope all home games re not like that. After the first 20 or so minutes I thought we would put at least 40 points on them. We all know that both teams can defend so I believe whoever gets the better start will go on to win on Friday.

| Low scoring game with our defence (hopefully) canceling out the good attack from Wire.
Wigan to win it in the death.

| My heart says Wigan, but my head says wolfs.
We couldn't beat them last season with a stronger team.
Their pack might muller us unfortunately.

| Can't see anything but a Wire win. Without Hansen (and Hock) I think it is asking too much of an inexperienced pack to give our backs a platform.
Everything would have to go right for us to win. No daft penalties (which Wane was concerned about last time out) and every half chance taken etc.
I'd like to hope if Wire do win it won't be by a large score and I come away being able to blame the ref for a crucial and undoubtedly incorrect decision.
The first 20 mins will be key to what sort of result we see I think.

| It’s a forward battle we should not win and our backs may not save us this time, and as for the halves, well for us they’re still on the litmus test to see if they have the wherewithal. Still there’s nowt wrong with hope and having your fingers crossed!

| Wigans backs are brilliant, no doubting, Tomkins elusive quick and strong. Charnley rapid, Richards one of the two best ariel threats in the league with Monas the other. Strength in that area and easily one of the best backlines in the league, your forwards though look inexperienced and lightweight, they need to step up and put in 100%, maintain concentration and not take a backward step and leg themselves be intimidated. They may be fitter with youth on their side but props are rotated and peak at the late twenties early thirties. We are stronger for sure in that department.

| I mentioned it on another thread but I sense a togetherness with this squad that I havent felt in the last 2 seasons. The seem a united bunch and what they lack in experience ( particularly our young forwards) they will make up in the desire to work for each other. I think Wire will win by 6-8 points but if we keep this pack together it could be a dominant force in Super League for Years to come.

| Remember the Bradford forwards of old? The awesome foursome?
The only way to beat them was move them around and tire them out.
Wire pack is bigger and no doubt stronger. They are also older, much older. Get them having to shift around the park and it could be a very long last 20 mins for them.
We need the halves, centres and back rowers to play wide out.
If we go up the middle I fear it won't be our night. Go wide and we could very well win.

Spot on mate. The difference between the two teams is the pack, and with Lima and Hock gone and Hansen missing i fear a mullering from the Warrington forwards.
Lets hope Wigan's young forwards step up to the plate and show we'll be a force to be reckoned with this season.
