Considering that the East and West stands both have about 7500 seats in them and the likely level of attendance for the tie I doubt anyone will have trouble either sitting with their usual group or be stuck with poor seats (for whatever reason they would consider them poor). Neither stand is likely to be more than half full even if most people opt for tickets in the East stand (for example). People will easily be able to move around to find empty seats that suit them regardless of when they bought them or the seat number printed on their ticket.
The South stand is always unreserved seating anyway so there is no real difference for the South stand STHs. Whereas making the two stands unreserved would deny the STHs in those stands the option to take their usual seat. As I suggested in my earlier post some may want to have their usual seat for reasons such as mobility or for small children (one reason some STHs with children won't sit in the unreserved South stand each week is to get a guaranteed clear view for the kids).
