| Will the stewards/officials even let us in the "home" end? It's one of the few grounds I wouldn't want to be anywhere near the home fans. Always get a warm welcome from "chav corner"

| I emailed Hull about this a few days ago and to their credit they gave a quick, detailed replyThank you for your email regarding the ticketing pricing for away supporters at the KC Stadium.
The pricing for the North Stand, where away supporters sit, has been included in a newly reviewed pricing structure which has been put in place by the new management at the club. The move to offer seats for £23 as advance purchase and £25 on the gate was to bring the pricing in line with the other areas of the ground, including the popular West and East Stands.
The only areas of the ground that do not follow this pricing structure are the new family area of the West Stand and the South Stand, where special promotional prices have been set to reward Hull FC supporters for their loyalty in previous seasons.
The new look management at the club promised that an area of the ground would be reduced on match days for home supporters, which is why this area has been offered to fans.
The club are in no way discouraging away supporters from travelling to the KC Stadium this year and will continue to provide one of the best facilities for away fans in 2012, who will also be accompanied by dedicated supporter liaison officers from the club to ensure their match day experience in Hull is a positive one.
However, we had to make the justified business decision to review all our prices for the new season and bring them in line with the rest of the areas in the ground, whilst still finding a way to promote a special offer to our committed supporters despite the limitations of our user agreement with the Stadium Management Company.
I hope this goes someway to answering your email.
Kind Regards,
James
James Clark

| I received the same generic email template.
It's obvious they've had many emails about it.

| I'll be going, it's one of my favourite away grounds and it should be a cracking game.
I understand in principle it is wrong to charge different prices for the same view, but compared to football where fans are consistently ripped off, £23 for an adult ticket is still unbelieveable value. People will pay £20+ to stand on uncovered terraces at Leeds, Cas, Wakey, Bradford but want to boycott this. I'd say that them clubs are the bigger rip off.
Also, if you want to hit them in the pocket, don't buy a pint, pie, programme etc... That way your saving the extra you've paid whilst also making a stand against the dodgy pricing structure.

| I'll be going.
I follow Latics and some of the prices I've payed to get into grounds have been double that. Still not happy about the price but it's still good value, especially with the form Hull are in it will be a good game.

| When I put it into perspective and look at some of the prices I pay as an away fan to go and watch Liverpool it seems good value for money so providing I can get there, il be going

| Boycotting the game will not affect next years prices or affect AP decision to charge away fans more, it has the makings to be a very good game 4 v 2 in the league always like the trips up to the KC stadium apart from the year we got hammered and took apart from Paul Cooke we took over 2k that year.

Hmmm. You might think that but the small margins soon add up and it clear as day to me from twitter that the discrepancy is putting some fans of all clubs off going. Each to their own though. I've made my decision.

| Hope its not putting too many fans off we need a big loud following at KC Stadium, shame our owner cant supsidise our coach travel money like some club owners do to try and get a big following.

| The Hull club are only offering a cut price for members of the Family Stand, so aren't really ripping away fans off -
There are far worse grounds in SL that fans will pay only £3 less for a ticket. If I'm
paying £20 for Wakey, Cas etc, I don't mind £23 for Hull who have better facilities and a roof!
Without sounding like a 'Superfan' but the quality of product on show is worth it, especially with Hull's start to the season it promises to be a good game.

| Of course £23 or £25 is worth it but it's the principle of the matter.
They can trot the family stand line out all they like but it's plain and simple they're ripping people off. They have history for it as well charging away fans more for a pint of lager for example then they do the home fans.
I say that i'm edging towards being ripped off because I never miss games I don't have to and i'm enjoying watching this attacking Wigan side play.

| Quote: pie.warrior "never ever felt safe at Hull and the abusive language is certainly not what you want to subject your kids and other half to. Havent missed a game for a few years but am seriously giving this one a lot of thought'"
I haven't been to Hull since the days of the Boulevard and won't be back until there is evidence that the behaviour of their fans has improved.
The discriminatory pricing issue shows that it isn't just some Hull FC fans who have contempt for visitors, the club itself just doesn't believe away fans deserve fair treatment.
So we should respond by boycotting them until they learn to behave like something approaching civilised human beings.

| Got my ticket for £23 but the adult concession is £19, I am sure this is the most expensive in the league. Good point in previous post, I used to buy a programme at every away game + food and drink, don't buy one now and take our own food and drink if required.
