I've seen them bomb a quarter final, bottle a semi final, finish as league leaders, but I've still, never, seen the Wire win the league

yeah not sure wellens has done anyhting makinson couldnt have done. he has just been a support player in the last 2 weeks. his form this season bar those 2 has been abysmal

Not true. Wello was excellent at Bradford. He was pretty much the only one, mind, but excellent nontheless. He spent the first two games of the season out injured.
However, he does deserve a ban IMO for his tackle on Briers, as Laffranchi does for his on whatsisface. They were both dangerous tackles and regardless of whether an accident or not they should be punished accordingly. |

Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.

He will appeal and be let off with just the fine.
If he pleads early guilty, then he cant be let off. So he didnt.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Pat, if he's fit. There was a stage last season where he was putting up a lot of the bombs, usually successfully - not sure why we went away from that tactic.
