It's ok it's French for plums, which is what Dearden and Hunt are. I can't listen to those two for two hours without causing a diplomatic incident and the SPG round my house. Can someone do a summary of what our esteemed leader said, ta.

Not a great deal to be honest. Other than Lenegan singing Finch's praises, and that we'll definitely be having a cross code game against Saracens. All very boring sadly. |

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Well I had no idea Terry Fogerty was his dad, but he played in four televised BBC Floodlit Cup games for Wigan in 1968 including scoring our only try in the 9-7 Semi Final win over Leigh. Can't really help with that as the footage is old but I could help with any newspaper stuff. The Wigan Library card has its uses! |

Terry Fogarty was a decent ball playing second row forward. He lacked pace but his ball handling skills were very good. The only problem was that we weren't the best of teams at the time he played and he tended to get frustrated with how his team mates didn't read his plays. Consequently he sometimes lost possession due to there being no-one on his shoulder to take advantage of his half breaks.
Adam Fogarty on the other hand was just a bit of a thug.
