If it gets 50 people extra going per game then it's worth it.Bearing in mind they're also canvassing Wire & Saints fans then I reckon they'll stand a good chance of doing so.
If it gets no-one coming along then at least they tried something.

For the Wigan fans that are RL fans too, you're most welcome, we enjoy the banter with your lot. You've also got some cracking young players on DR with us too.

It depends on who is playing in the Under 20s at the time doesn't it, for example, you beat them with, what, 2 points was it last year?? Correct me if im wrong.

The problem is the Championship sides are usually made up mainly of players who haven't, or probably wont, reach SL standard, or, are older players seeing their careers out on a last payday, the games I watched on SKY last year were 'ok' entertainment but 'poor' quality (IMO).

To be honest mate, other than the odd veteran player, you have a mixture of young players, players on DR and players who work outside playing. There are only a handful of players over say 32.

Without being nasty,it is only a few weeks ago that the Leigh team (who themselves had a few youngsters in) put 40 plus points on what was said to be the Wigan under 20s team.

For the 5th time already in one thread. I UNDERSTAND AND APPRECIATE WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

However, with Super League prices being through the roof at the moment for our away games I cant see many people going.

Leigh prefer to have a handful of knuckle draggers with ''GLOW'' flags whilst signing songs comparing Wigan Rugby to the IRA.

Aside from that, it's good to see Wigan and Leigh having a better relationship with regards to loaning out young players. Personally, I'm not sure if I'd part with a tenner to go watching but I do eventually want to see a stronger Leigh both on and off the pitch and possibly in Super League in time to come.
