Basil has been placed on leave, on compassionate grounds by the Castleford club. Since we play them on Sunday I hope we can show the Millward family a lot of love and respect. Hopefully a minutes silence will be observed out of respect for Ian's loss.

It's difficult to know what to say. It's a tragedy for the family and friends. I just hope we can have a minutes silence impeccably observed on Sunday as a show of the RLs families support to the Millward family.

We are Rugby League fans so the minuites silence on Sunday will be impeccable without saying. My first memories of his son was Millwards first ever game for us which was at Salford when he walked accros the pitch with him.

No parent should ever have to bury their child whatever the child's age. I have two young kids and it breaks my heart even trying imagine what they are going through. Tragic.

As a parent of 2 teenagers (well 1 is 20) i can't even begin to imagine how Ian and his family must be feeling right now...absolutely devestating. please accept my sincere condolences . RIP Robbie,( that is very hard hitting as my son is also a Robbie)
