Did anyone look to be a worthy scapegoat for the season. I was hopeful of luaiki(sp) but I think I may just stick with the tried and trusted and just blame everything on Lima, bloody plodder.

Did anyone see the team jump on the bus to Huddersfield after where they were rumoured to have injured the Huddersfield players?

It was a joke. There's a thread on the VT having a winge about how teams always have injuries when they play us.

The training was quite basic but it was quite enjoyable despite the cold freezing wind. A good opportunity for the fans to see the players getting ready for the new season. Tommy L was enjoying himself, joking around. But it was also apparent that he was helping some of the younger players during the training and he's certainly one of the team's leaders.

It was quite a good PR excercise with the players posing for fans photos and signing autographs afterwards. Stu Fielden was very friendly and is understandably keen to get back into action. He reckons he should be back for the end of February.

I didn't see Fielden, did anyone see Amos Roberts? There must have been 50 players on the field.

Fielden was stood near the gym area with Paul Prescott. I didn't see Amos, in fact I think he was the only 1st team squad player who I didn't see there.

Did any one stand out in terms of size? it's apparent Wane wanted the player's to add some bulk during the pre season.
