Quote: Robbo "According to the terms and conditions on the official website. If you pay by card in person for a regular ticket theres no charge. But if you pay by card in person for your season tickets you will be charged a £2.50 booking fee for each season ticket. That doesn't really make sense to me..
If you book normal ticks online or by phone then its a 2.00 fee per transaction which is upto 4 tickets. so if you where buying 5 tickets you'd pay a £4 booking fee. and again for season tickets its 2.50 per season ticket. In all honesty it seems like a bit of a rip off to me. but I can only assume the reason for this charge is for them to pay ticketmaster for using them?rather than having anything to do with a cost of transferring the money. or maybe for postage? But if that is the case and you request to pick them up in person on matchday then in reality they should be waiving that charge.
It's hardly massive amounts of money but it still seems a tad unfair regardless of the amount.'"
Quite agree, its the principle and the feeling of being ripped off that gets on peoples nerves.
Maybe the extra £2.50 transaction charge for season tickets is for producing the swipe cards?
I will still be paying it when season tickets are on open sale on 7TH November
