Quite a few Wire fans I have spoken to don't think he will get banned as it has happened in the past and not been punished with a ban. Not saying he shouldn't get a ban and neither are they but its harsh to ban Sam when none of the others where banned.

Agree with that and it was incredibly stupid, we cant defend him for what he did. I do think there has been a massive over exaggeration with this though, but that's to be expected when its Tomkins. But is has happened many times in the past and all those went unpunished.

course it can be defended. You push someone hard enough and they will retaliate. Lets face it, Sam's had a bulls eye painted on his head all through this season, for players and fans a-like.
