| Why is it a shame about the officials? They were (roughly) equally good (and bad) for both teams across the 80 mins. Try watching the game with the blinkers off and you'll find lots of Leeds foul play that went unpunished, Leeds incorrect play the balls and forward passes that were not seen by the officials. Grow up and accept defeat!

| Ablett didnt play the ball correctly, blatant penalty that went unpunished and leeds scored 3 tackles later.
That evens one of the decisions out.
Therefore we would have still won.

Exactly. It's not Wigan's fault that a couple of calls that went our way we managed to score from, whereas Leeds' missed transgressions they didn't manage to score off. That's down to the team, not the ref.

Haha! You've managed to ruin the only troll free thread on here. Well done.
Why is it a shame about the officials?
Because the BBC spent half the after match time talking about 2 rank bad decisions. There were others like the ablett potb and the spear on delaney as well! It doesn't make our game look good.
Why not just accept the congratulatory message like all the other decent Wigan fans have instead of being a co ck

[quote="Saddened":15kig0eg]Pat Richards is poop. A typical, average, run of the mill NRL outside back. Nothing special at all. Like Barrett he is a myth. He is solid enough, he can catch, he can kick goals.[/quote:15kig0eg]:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_7958.jpg |

| Good to see some decent fans, after all the crap on these sites today. Actually at the game, Leeds fans where great and no one I spoke to complained like some Wire and Saints fans. They just accepted a better team won.

I've noticed that - the Leeds fans seem fairly reasonable about the game. Maybe because they were expecting to lose anyway. The Saints and Wire fans' outrage is hilarious though

| Congratulations guys. Gutted that we lost, especially with a few questionable calls but it's gone and we move on. Given me hope that maybe our best days aren't behind us and with a bit of luck we might just be able to challenge once again.
Well done and enjoy it

That was my experience. We had four Leeds fans next to us and at the end I said Leeds were unlucky to one and he said yes he thought they were but given it was a good game he could live with it. I presume he was thinking back to last year when he said that.

| I will admit it, I thought we got out of jail on Saturday. You have to wonder why Leeds seem to play well against us (unlucky not win in all 3 games this season), yet lose poorly against lesser opposition.
I'll just say that if BJB had taken the tackle in the last five minutes instead of chipping it over, then I'm 99% certain we would have been beaten.
