You are allowed 5 non-fed signed after 2008 are you not?
So I'd imagine Roberts, Finch, Hoffman, Lima and Cross make up the non-fed quota. Carmont, Richards and Tommy all signed before 2008?
Then of that 8, I'd guess maybe Carmont/Richards/Tommy don't count as "quota" for some reason or other, making it 5 non-fed and 5 quota?
Is that about right?
I'll be glad when these pre-2008 contracts all expire so that the quota is 5 and 5 only for everyone. |

From what I have been told McDermott told Cross early on that he was not part of McDermotts plans. Hardly the best way to get a performance from a player, if true.

I'd give Hoffman the rest and play Hock (if fit enough) and have Cross on bench in Hocks place..
Hoffman was due to be rested last Wednesday but for Coleys suspension |

Forget how it works exactly but dont Carmont, Richards and Leuluai not count on the "proper" oversees quota. I agree that its probably too many tbh, suppose it depends on Roberts' recovery whether or not we'd be looking to get shut of him before next season. The rest are all top drawer players who compliment the blend of experienced British players and upcoming youngsters in the squad. Also Carmont hasn't decided on his future yet. And as far as we know Cross is only a stop gap til the end of this season anyway.
I'd be happy with Carmont, Richards, Leuluai, Finch, Hoffman, Lima + maybe one more signing of equivalent standard as our oversees players for 2012.

He will definately bolster our pack till the end of the season. He may have a point to prove to a few doubters aswell, he may excel in our team. I'll leave it a couple of games till I judge him.
