He got most of the decisions right.
Two crucial ones he got wrong, the knock on by Hoffman in the first half, should have been a penalty to Wigan, the Leeds player was all over him at the ptb, and Richards try just after half time, forward by a long way.

But what about the things he missed? Wasn't there a knock on by a Leeds player about 35m out in the 2nd half everybody in the DW except him in saw? I can't remember but I think they went on to score from there. That 's just one example BTW.

We hand over the ball on leeds 5 yard line after being tackled on the 5th and then he takes our defensive line to the 20. Surely it should only be back 10 yards to the 15?
Pat got impeeded twice whilst running to make a challenge for the high ball one of which we score from (Hoffs try).
Hoffman gets done for playing the ball incorrectly of knock on not sure which after 15 mins or so. This is whilst Lee Smith is perfecting a chicken wing tackle on Hoffs left arm.
Saying all that though the real reason the game was so tight and such a struggle for us was the individual unforced errors from the likes of HH, the Hoff and for once Pat.'"
you forgot the forward pass and not sending ratboy off for a professional foul.

We got one in the first half Charnley knocked on, but the two I referred to were big decisions particularly Pats try.

There were plenty more than that. The Mcguire knock-on in Finch's tackle, Pat taken out in the air on the first high kick, BJB offside after the ball hits Webb, Joel dragging the ball back and being ruled a knock-on, Sam penalised for not square ahen the Leeds player moves off the mark...

The kick that Sinfield did late on which apparantley Prescott(think it was him) played at? The numerous occasions Leeds were messing about at the ptb trying to slow it down. They obviously watched John Wells review the Hudds game last week because he said if you dont slow Wigan down they will kill you

| Just plain clueless. Poor all round. Gives the impression that he dithers and is undecisive. Should go down a division but he's out token French ref so he won't.
Not blaming him for our poor performance though. Leeds aren't a bad team on paper as they showed last night. If they sack McDermott and get some form together under a new coach they could yet still spring a surprise this season. I had certainly written them off before last night, but they are still capable.

His hand signal was clearly marking FIVE, as in Fifth Tackle. That to me implied he was bringing it back up, to run the firth tackle again, because of some misdermener on the Yorkes part. But then they PTB, and it's game on...
I dont think I saw one Leeds tackle that their guy wasn't swinging around on the ball, not the player, the ball trying to wrench it out (and there were very very few 1on1s from Leeds).
The guy is a joke. It annoys me every time he refs, not just for us, but for anyone, there's people in Aus LAUGHING at us for this guy! Sack that nodder at the top, and get someone in there who knows what they're doing, maybe then the sport can develop.

4916_1342356991.gif Rugby league must be a great game to survive the people who run it.
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_4916.gif |

| Don't know about specsavers he needs to go to ref's school . Started off by nailing both sides for fairly innocuous incidents as though he was laying the law down early and then went on to ignore all the things that mattered. Worst display I have seen from him for both sides. No wonder fans get angry

| The Prescott charge down ruling was the most baffling... I mean, the lad's a big unit and if he turns his back on the kicker and it hits him on his arris it's difficult to see how that can be ruled as a charge down.

| He's pants. He would struggle to ref kids his personality is that weak. He gets bullied. On 3 seperate occasions, probably more, he didnt have a clue. The biggest joke is that Stevo thinks he's good.

Prescott wasn't on the field at the time. The Wigan player advanced toward the kicker, that's why the "play on" was given.
