Why's the bottom part of the away end shut?'"
I think its something to do with putting the soccer nets along that section of seating. I dont know if it was in place today.

Great fun stood at the back for once and joining in more singing than we have previously! The beach ball was soooo funny. WAAAAY,WAAAY, OOOOH, WAAAY!!'"
If you're referring to the Kop then its been shut for a few years because it is due to be knocked down and replaced by a new stand. When that will happen is another question as the owners of Crusaders RL, Wrexham FC and Wrexham Village seem more interested in sorting out the student flats around the ground first than redeveloping the Kop stand.
What happened in the away stand in regards to signage? I was in the Mold Road Stand

| A rather sizable piece of sponsorship signage snapped from the front of the stand and fell into the front seats of the lower tier... Nobody sat in the seats but a couple of lads walking across the front very nearly got it in the neck, literally.

| We got there late after a near 3 hour car journey, had to queue in the shop to get our tickets, but still got in the stand behind the sticks.
The bar and toilet area under the stands ( you couldn't call it a concourse) was THE WORST I have seen, even worse than Wakey and Cas, and KR.

| Amazing following today.
Must have been 3k in the away end with an extra 500 in the home end. Great stuff!

| I had a bit of a shocker. Queued for ages at the ticket office because the turnstiles were shut due to 'having no float', when I asked whether I could come through if I paid the right change, the steward said only his supervisor could make such massive decisions, and he didn't know where he was. Then when we got to the ticket office it was £20 adult and £15 student instead of the £17 and £12 advertised on the turnstiles. Then when we got in the same steward as before was stopping us going to the bottom tier of the stand where the rest of our family (and plenty empty seats) were because there were 'no facilities', which we didn't really understand, as there was a bar and a toilet, what more facilities do they want? Eventually my uncle managed to get another steward to let us down there.
Then when we got back to the car, which was parked on a random estate, we found the people from a house on the estate had called the police because we were parked on the curb outside their house (no double yellow lines, permit required or gates blocked, just two wheels on the curb) and took to taking pictures of us and the car when we said we weren't going to wait and talk to the police. Did anyone else have similar problems? Loads of other fans had parked on that estate and seemed to be getting similar grief. I saw some other fans arguing with the ticket office because their tickets hadn't arrived too. At least the score was pleasing

| The away end was fulland the stand I was in (tunnel side) seemed to be busy, Last year the opposite stand was the busier one. Had a couple of pints in a thatched roofed pub just up from wetherspoons, only a few locals in.
The trip away from the ground was slow and ended up going through Chester to avoid the standing traffic. It will be interesting to see the attendance for the next home game against Wakefield

| When you were asking about why isnt the lower tier of the away stand open, if im right, I think its because they haven't got the required amount of stewards in that area to deal with fans in that area. Pretty stupid I know. Thanks for turning up in that number, you helped to make it a great day out. You did out number us.

It was a good day out, the weather was good again and despite some of the complaints the ground was better than last year. I hope the crusaders can get out of their current slump.
