When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club. We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens. Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before. To save his embarrassment everyone should have pee'd themselves then he wouldn't have been singled out... Poor sod, I know how he feels to have people mock. Pissyism ranks amongst racism and sexism for me...
Hang you heads in shame all ye that mock... Those first five minutes are great but as soon as the liquid (whatever it may be) starts to go cold, well it's blood awful I can tell you..

Correct it was bullying.

If he needs to pi$$ it's not his fault.

I bet it warmed him a little as it was a cold night.

This thread reminds me of a tale i was told by my step dad.

He was in the Sydney Cricket Ground watching the Aussies versus Sri Lanka. His mate came equipped with a GB RL top and was giving the Aussies stacks of abuse, which they of course were returning in kind.

After a few hours of supping pints in the blazing sun, a loud fart was heard by all in the vicinity.

My step dads mate was found guilty and then absolutely torn to shreds by everyone within a 50 yard radius and tried his hardest to deny it. For a short while the Aussie public believed him and he got away with it.

However...........

It was soon discovered that his mate had followed though in SPECTACULAR fashion. Due to the heat, the fact that he was sitting and the sheer ferociousness of the trump the number two had actually reached the back of his neck!!. The stain that ran up the entire length of his (previously) brilliant white Great Britain top was spotted and the fella has to run past about 2000 Aussies who laughed him out the crowd.

Best part was though that because of the smell, no Taxi drivers would pick him up. So he had to do the walk of shame for the 2 mile trip back to the Hotel.

Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20333.gif

I don't think anyone minds people going to the toilet or bar during the game. The point being made is there are some people who get up numerous times during a game. If they are in the centre of the block, it affects the people sitting down and those directly behind them as they stand up - before the return journey, when it all happens again. I was at the WCC this year, and sat on the end of a row. I must have had to stand up about 20-25 times during that game, to let people out and back in again, which was a pain, but nowt I can do about it.

It's a problem that we notice now, because of the seats, but in the good old days of terracing, you could slink out, (and possibly lose your place!), without anyone being disturbed.

I tend not to see the same amount of people getting up when I'm at the cinemas, watching a film for 2 hours, but I suppose that's because the people in there aren't going for a beer and then experiencing the after effects of a lot of beer consumed before and during a game.

I can assure it it is 100% true.

If anyone in here drinks in the Whelley Labour club, they will confirm it. icon_biggrin.gif
