Before you continue your inconherent garble, smoke bombs or flares, it makes no difference. If you look like scum and act like scum, don't be surprised if people start thinking you're scum.


Btw don't confuse this with an attack on Wigan, I thought the real support and numbers were very good.

Some people on here need to seriously get a grip. It was harmless red smoke, not carbon monoxide or a flare, a harmless smoke bomb. The stewards were even laughing when they came over. It's a bit of colour and it adds to the atmosphere, as do the flags. Wind your necks in.

How dare a group of Wigan fans get together and support the team and make the DW stadium more like a home rather than just a ground we play at? Who exactly has claimed "they're some how bigger and better fans than every1 else"?

They're scum. See how it works now? Everyone knows it's not the flags, it's the pretence that they are some sort of hooligan element.

And on this one the fellow on the left has a wasp on his shoulder, other chap is trying his best to remove the pest, lady moves in to swat said pest with a destructive instrument but as you can see she is taking no chances as it appears to have already stung her right arm in an earlier incident.

To be fair to the 'ultras' they brought a bit of colour to the atmosphere, along with a fantastic amount of wigan fans for a friday night match. I can see what my fellow Robin is trying to suggest, but I take the ultra term with a pinch of salt. Accrington Stanley fans do something similar, as do York City as far as I know, and it looks impressive when the full stand is doing it.

Just to add though, and it might be my failing hearing in my later years, but am I right in thinking that someone in the bunch of 'ultras' was blowing a whistle now and again, not to clever really if so.
