| Felt sorry for the lad, didn't get the protection he needed from his centre or second row

| Play Charnley in the centre instead of Marsh (nice lad, hard-working but not Wigan class I'm afraid) and put Roberts on the wing! Simple!

| Roberts is getting stick this week and did nothing wrong, sums up the boo boys.
Charnley has now has 2 poor games from 3, he's young still learning and will bounce back and is obviously going to make a top class players. It's early season so no major worries from me.

I agree with this, we struggled when we played Hudds cos we didn't get in the face of Brough and the same happened against Briers last night. They are too good if we give them space on the last tackle. (Although none of what you said was a 'FACT' )

23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

| Quote: Rogues Gallery "Radlinski basically said that Wire were more enthusiastic than we were. He brought Josh Charnley with him and Charnley himself said that he had a poor game but would do everything he could to put it right next week.'"
So the entire result was down to enthusiasm then? Fair play to Radlinski for summing it up so succinctly.
Charnley was dreadful last night but he was absolutely superb last week and from what I've seen of him so far, last night is more likely to be the exception that the rule.

Roberts mistakes last week should have cost us the game and we got away with it. This week, poor Charnley was left too exposed by his team mates. At least he didn't flinch and had a go at catching the high ball.
What surprised me though was that mental pass he made to Sam behind his own line. Hope it was just inexperience.

4916_1342356991.gif Rugby league must be a great game to survive the people who run it.
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_4916.gif |

| He'll learn from it and come back even better. Everyone has an off day every so often and it was just unfortunate that he was not on his own last night. Confidence is a great thing in any walk of life and Wire were full of it last night and played well but it sort of reminds me of that bit at the end of Tora Tora Tora when Pearl Harbour had just been bombed and the admiral of the Japanese navy sits there saying 'I fear we have just awoken a sleeping giant' - I am hoping that is what happened with us last night

| For me the biggest thing is why on the last tackle do players play at the ball - on kick charge downs or spilled passes - Finch charged down a kick that was going no where and Charnley tried to get a dropped pass both on the last and both ended up giving Warrington 6 more tackles near our line. Strange decisions which cost us big time.

| Charnley has had big problems in dealing with kicks in every game he has played so far, even in his best game against Huddersfield he dropped a couple, and Warrington obviously did their homework and targeted him. Joel Monaghan though is a very good winger and made him pay and Charnley wont have to face that class a winger each week in SL. He is still young but still has a long way to go at this level and his inexperience does show at times. Still I would have him in the squad any day of the week before Ainscough as he is a much better prospect.

Dropped a clanger straight from the kick off against Hull. Obviously this is an area he needs to work on.
