| Quote: NickyKiss "If he's been dropped I think it's a shocker tbh after the way the guys played since he came into the team. He missed more tackles in one match on Friday then he did in the whole of last season but he also made 42 and to me the lad should have an arm put round him and be backed to improve this week rather then punished by being left out.
'"
He is only a young man remember. Why risk burning him out?
Give him a week off and reap the rewards against the Rhinos.

That is being quite hyper critical. He missed 3 within a short space of time right after he had his head bandaged up. He looked to be on jelly legs for a few minutes but seemed to recover as the game went on.

| Faz's last 2 x games have seen his High standards at the end of last year and start of this slip a little.
I noticed he slipped off a few tackles Friday and didn't quite seem to have that Dynamism that usually sees him involved all over the place in attack and defence.
He din't have a Bad game far from it but he just looked a Touch jaded to me?

Hang on...
I am not saying this is a reason for dropping him. I was only offering it as a "possible" reason.
As far as i am concerned the lad is an absolute gem, who has not put a foot wrong since his debut.

Exactly and that surely must be the reason for him being left out(if he has) rather them him being 'dropped' which would seem a little unfair.
The lads top draw and he'll no doubt be back better then ever.
He's missed 10 tackles this year in 5 games in comparison to 4 tackles in 16 games last season so maybe thats something he's been asked to work on. I know Maguire asked quite a few questions of Mossops defence early last season and he seems to have answeared those.

He was bandaged very early in the game, he was missing tackles much later on. I think the fact he started rather than off the bench may have fatigued him more.
Great player but a rest may do him the world of good.

| Quote: NickyKiss "I could see it being a little rest because of him missing a few tackles. He's played in some huge games for such an inexperienced guy and maybe Maguire just feels the times right to give him a week off to refresh for Leeds.'"
Correct. He also took a bad head injury too. The lad is clearly getting fatigued - he missed five tackles last week. A weeks rest, freshen up, let the head injury heal and he's fit & firing for Leeds. We have a big squad - why not use it?
Fantastic news that Brett Finch is back. I'm not sure what to expect of him yet. Very excited to see him make his debut though. Roberts on the bench will be cover and should everyone stay fit I think we'll see Roberts move to 1, Sam to 6 with Finch at 7 and Tommy move to hooker to spell McIlorum.

We'll have to use the squad as the season goes on and rotate it a little if we're to keep everyone fresh and happy. The pack especially is log jammed with talent and to keep them all fresh seems to make perfect sense.

| Love that with all our players out we can still afford to rest a player like Faz against Warrington

| If Gleeson was in the side you wouldn't even remember we had any injuries the cover is so good.
You feel more than comfortable with Tuson, Charnley and Prescott in the side at the moment even if they are replacing Tomkins, Richards and Fielden.
Marsh however still sticks out like a sore thumb in that side to me.

And so we should be if hes needing it.
Its only game 6 we should not be risking anyone with injury or fatigue.

Since when have Wigan declared a team on the Tuesday when the Match is on the Friday.
Is the team shown the official one or just guesswork?.

I'm a bit uneasy that the team appears on here ever week this early, every week.
Cliff got pelters for this previously and he posted MUCH later in the week!

I'm a bit uncomfortable with this, myself.
If this is indeed the team for Friday, I'm not sure Michael Maguire would be happy that someone was leaking it online before it's been officially announced.
