King is injured.

true, but in Maguire I Trust.
If Madge thinks he's fit to play, then he's fit to play

i mentioned the same kind of back line on the warrington game thread that got locked earlier in the week. i'd love for roberts to be given a chance and i think dropping him will only knock any confidence he is trying to build and i reckon MM will be thinking the same (gewt me likening myself to a top SL coach!)
lockers played fantastically well at 6 last week and i think thats a good game plan once again, i'd also bang faz at 13 but i am concerned about everyone's best ever wigan player in sam being bounced at FB. he may be our best available FB but to look at the WCC for example, anyone gets near him towards the try line in a one on one position or with enough speed and the attacking players wins 9 out of 10 for me as sam doesn't have the build and strength to combat the forwards, even some backs IMO. great great player yes, especially in terms or rugby brain and bringing the ball out from the back line but i do worry if wire get the opportunity near the line they will punish us severly and they are probably the form team for me too, so again, its a worry of mine.
ok i don't have his FB stats but its still a concern for me. at least with roberts in the side we have the option to shake sam, him, faz and lockers around to accomodate anyway.

I agree, i think Roberts should play, but I just think Maguire will go with that team I named.

i see your point, but raise you a "i don't think marsh will play" chip
too big a game IMO for the lad to be up against the likes of some of the leagues' form players. but again saying that, i'm in no position to comment considering i've only seem them on sky so far this year

| I'd let him start from the bench and bring him into the side as Maguire sees fit. It's going to be full throttle from the off in this game and it would seem wise to let him sit out the first 20-30mins and then settle into the game from there. If we need a lift then he's there and if we're on top then he's there aswell and we can use him to guide the team around and take some sting out of the game.
Theres no need to rush the lad and having an extra forward in Lockers at 6 will help our defence early doors.

Great interview, the Hoff is going to be a fans favourite!
Would be great for Finch to make his debut on friday, the boost he could bring would be at exactly the right time.

Goulding didnt drop any kicks to him last week and missed one against Hull when he was blinded by the sun so thats a bit of an exageration. He has always been very solid under the high ball and has dropped far less than most wingers.

This for me.
Mossop & Faz off the bench are immense, backed up by solid work from Tuson & Lima. It will be good to face Warrington with so many forwards firing.

I'd rather have Goulding on the wing and Charnley at centre. Goulding gets exposed defensively in the centre position. I feel this happens less so on the wing.
If Roberts is to be selected I'd be tempted to play him outside Charnley and have Goulding on the left. Both look more settled on the right anyway so it could be a case of hair splitting on my part there.

| A mate of mine said he saw Finch in Tesco last week and he's had his hair shaved off and dyed. Hoff refers to it in the interview and says it was a penalty for being late to training ha. Might not recognise him Friday

How can you shave your hair off AND dye it?
