When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club.
We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens.
Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

The whole stand seemed to get behind at a couple of points.
I have to give raps to the drummer behind me last night (think he was on the ETA bus as well) who got Dale Cavese going, great work, lad. He also did a decent job on just can't get enough.

Appreciate it may bring back painful memories for one or two Wigan Huns for whom the song is associated with dustings at Celtic Park but when it comes to Wigan RL I'd like to think that we can leave our football allegiances to one side.....we slip n slide as we fall in love.....

Yes, great atmosphere last night, Leeds away pity no roof at Shedingley, voice just recovering, what an effort from the lads, really enjoyed it. |

Was at the Whinos v Stains game tonight (hospitality, free meal, free wine, free ale so I have an excuse) and about 20 Stains fans tried to start the same song going with about 5 minutes to go - it was pitiful. Where we lead (in RL) others follow.
