Yep you'd think they'd have looked at that and already agreed he can come back, but the RFL site is saying his contract has been terminated. |

According to Nigel Wood on Radio Manc Dobson's contract has been cancelled so they could de-register him so he is effectively a free agent and could be signed by another club.

Ive seem player be de-registered when they have been out for the season but cant remember players being registered the same season again

Nigel Wood did say tonight that Wigan did it with two players a couple of seasons ago. It is not a loop hole as a lot of people seem to think and as long as the RL board agree he can be re- registered in the same season. HKR think the Mason passport thing will be sorted in the next few days apparently.

Yeah but its not his salary they are trying to get around it's his quota status.
There is supposedly a rule though that once you have de-registered a quota player he cannot be registered again that season without permission from the board.
I'm assuming the RFL will give them permission as Mason's Tongan passport is just "delayed" |
