The pitch was an absolute disgrace today. Latics should be heavily fined for that playing surface and the game should have been abandoned.
Still, somehow the Warriors will be blamed for the state of the surface I'm sure.

How do you think us Rhinos feel after the kick and clap chew ours up all winter. Leeds seemed to pick up loads of ankle and knee injuries early last season, whether that was due to the pitch is debatable.

Yeah. It was our fault it hasn't stopped raining since Thursday. Maybe we should be fined for the flooding in the street near me too?

Stop confusing the dear with facts. Ground built on marshland gets boggy when it doesn't stop raining for 3 days shocker.

I'm well aware of the construction history of the JJB. I'm sure the club were well aware that this would be a problem in the future.
The pitch was unplayable today. Wigan should be fined for that fact.

When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club.
We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens.
Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before.

How is the pitch so crap? Its not like that at Bolton or Blackburn and most other premier league pitches in the north west. Seems strange to me.

The football club are using the pitch to try and help them stay up as its bringing sides down to thier level, so will not try and patch it up so we have to suffer on that bog of a pitch.

Both teams seemed to do fine today despite the weather.
So if it rained constantly for 3 days before and during a Wigan RL match and the pitch deteriorated because of it, you'd welcome a fine for us as well? |
