| I'll go for Warrington as the biggest threat, Hudds as dark horses, Leeds/Saints close, but I'm not convinced about either of their new coaches.

Their team is just as good as ours IMO.
King, Monaghan x2, Morley & Hodgson are some of the best in SL. Big game players with big game experience.
Then guys like Carvell, Atkins, Bridge, Westwood, Anderson etc are also quality players. Think how many teams those guys would get in and then you realise how big of a challenge they will pose to us.

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.
Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!

| I think Huddersfield are going to go great guns this year, I really do.
Wire and Saints will there or there abouts of course. But to me the Giants have it all, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them come a close second behind ourselves.

Top 8
You mad? After a good year they may struggle, why? Because they've exchanged Mathers for Hodgson lol
Their squad looks stronger this year than last, if anything they'll be more dangerous. Hence getting 68% of the vote!

Me too, I think 3rd or 4th place finish for Huddersfield this year, with their experience of the play-offs last year, they could go one better this time round.

| The points we have lost due to not having a decent goalkicker, now we have a guy who puts them over for fun. Someone even pointed out on the Wire board the other day that we'd have come top if we'd have converted all the missed goals last season.
I think it's a toss up between you guys and us.

Gareth Hock can't pass
Gareth Hock can't run
Gareth Hock can't fight

The point is still valid.
It was a hypothetical, you don't get credit for working that out.
The point is... If we had Brett last year (the variable) and he made (let's say) 90% of his kicks, Wire would be top?
And he is right.
Your point only works if he didn't qualify it with Brett. If he had said say... If Westwood was a better kicker, we would have been top.
You see? I may be confusing the issue.

| Your biggest threats will be the likes of Wakefield, Harlequins, Crusaders and Catalan Dragons who’ll be all treating their game with you as a cup final.

I thought i'd search myself as i agree, i shouldn't just take things as fact.
Wigan: 3 draws Hudds/bradford/ gained 2, Wire lost 1 point = 1 points extra
Wire: 3 draws Wigan/Saints/Leeds 3 points gained = 3 points extra
Saints: 2 draws Hull kr 1 gained, wire 1 lost = 0 points
1st Wigan 45 points
2nd Wire 43 points
3rd Saints 40 points
So he was wrong but that could have been a big difference for us.
Thing is (this bit is slightly silly in some respect) if we'd have had BH we might have actually gone for 2 more often than we did.

Love it. 1 poor season by our usual very high standards, and suddenly we're a spent force. The squad is pretty much the same as the 3xChampions but yet its no longer good enough to challenge for trophys.
