and yet our league victory was widely attributed to flogging the lads during the last pre-season. In 2010 it led to us winning four in a row in our opening games, our best start to a season since 1998, co-incidence? I doubt it. If you want to win the league you have got to hit the ground running. Perhaps the balance needs to be re-addressed but I'd hardly call a hard pre-season lunacy when the rewards are so obvious.

I agree with Grimmy.
Time to lie down in a dark room.

Rule 2. If in any case I appear wrong, refer to rule 1.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_42170.jpg |

All class that bloke.'"
He did nothing of the sort, he maintained throughout that yes we did have injuries, it was clear to see, but at no point did he say it was the reason for our poor form. He was far from perfect but he always gave credit to the better side and didn't blame this on injuries.

Spot on.
For all we know, the injuries picked up in training could be simply a case of bad luck.

| Hansen and Davies are the only players to get their injurys during training, Fielden & Sams was from the 4nations, Finch's is a reoccurance from last season & Pats was obviously from the Grand Final. As for Gleeson, well lets not go there again..

And considering Davies has a broken jaw, it's not exactly an endurance issue.

| Injury fears eased here slightly - looks likely that Tomkins, Gleeson, Fielden and Hansen may be OK for the 1st game of the season.

Sounds llike Finch is going to be out for a couple of months also. Hope his neck injury recovers fully, looking forward to seeing him play as MM points out hes quite a character.

Yes, he was given the all clear but picked it back up in training after a contact session.
