| Here on Merseyside all the soccer talk is about ownership.
The change of of ownership three years ago for us when Ian Lenagan bought the club from Dave Whelan has changed Wigan RL for the better.
We saw the scale of the club's improvement last night.
Under DW's ownership we wouldn't have been anywhere near Old Trafford.
IL bought the club and improvement is there for us all to see.
His biggest decision was not renewing Brian Noble's contract and bringing in Michael Maguire.
The on field performance has improved beyond anything we could have hoped for in his first year, the Grand Final win together with the League Leaders Shield proves that Wigan RL are the best team in the league for 2010.
Management is about making things happen.
Ian Lenagan as the owner has made the very best things happen.
His ownership has been the turning point for our club.
Well Done and Thank You Mr Lenagan.

| Running the club the right way, and you know the prize money will be used correctly under IL.
Hopefully his sons have his business savy and are fans of the club as well.....
Roll on 2011.

| And the best part is........
Both Ian and Madge asked for patience this year, as 2011 is supposed to be when we start to do big things.
If we can do better next year than this then we are in for one hell of a treat.
Huge thanks to Ian, Madge, Shaun, Mark Bitcom, the whole squad and everyone who has worked so hard since last November to make yesterday possible.

| I love it when a plan comes together. In Ian's case it's the business plan. At the fiorst of the fans forum he outlined his strategy for getting the club back to the top. It was a question of building bricks in the wall. e had some crumbling bricks that were still on contract at Wigan and knew that he had to start from the foundations. I agree with others that the great thing about the club now is the teamwork. The backroom boys such as Mark Bitcom, Radders, the commercial team, the whole coaching set up. Everyone pulling in the right direction. Wasn't it great to see the likes of Sean Ainscough, Ben Davies, Mossop, Bails and the rest of the boys celebrating on the pitch. And alst but not least the fans. The team must acknowledge what a great set of supportes they have. We consistently take large numbers away from home and to have lads like the "erection section" going the extra mile must be inspirational for the team.
IL - thanks for having the vision and the leadership to take the club back to the top. We all have confidence with you at the helm we will be there or thereabouts for years to come.

| Yes IL has turned it around, like Mo did and well done I have a feeling that this is only the start.
Totally different style of business and management, for the team and not himself (DW)
On behalf of fans who have waited n waited thank you

| Ian has had a vision of what he has wanted the club to be and with his no flannel response has managed to get the support of the backroom staff, the players and the fans.
Mr Lenagan, sir... Respect is due.
