Yes the Grand Final "cup" team. Isnt winning the GF what this season is all about, if not lets just stop the playoffs.
Saying that if you would have been to a GF in the past decade youd understand! One season wonders, a NRL club will come for your coach soon then where will your journeymen squad be.
Although be nice to see a Wigan coach that can show his team how to tackle under the chin!

You could say that but if you win the GF and you haven't finshed top then its a bit fake really isn't it? You know what i mean? A 'hollow championship' if you like.
Wigan have been to 3 GF's in the past decade. THey have also finished top of the league as many times as 'the best Leeds team in history'
We could be one season wonders if we don't win the league again next season. I hope we don't just win the cup or end of season playoffs and think we are great or anything. |
