I agree. I really enjoyed the former players being there at the start as well - Henderson Gill getting the huge cheer was great.

Great to see the fans stay behind and over 17,000 being there tells you while the marketing men want to make the GF the trophy to win, plenty of people recognise coming top is a great achievement in itself.

1) Being stood outside waiting for more tickets
2) Going to the West stand to buy a ticket
3) Having to walk to the south west to get in because the west stand entrances were shut
4) missing the first 15 mins

yeah was brill too see nearly everyone stay behind for the presentation, though i thought they was never gonna let Feka have a turn on the mic until everyone started chanting his name

I knew there was going to be a big crowd tonight and I got our tickets a few weeks in advance as I do for every home game, walked up and got in, not hard really.

my mrs said that about feka, never crossed my mind that they wouldn't have interviewed him. I thought it was stage managed.

Agree with the comments above, that was not what we want to see come play off time, tell me what does Paul Deacon bring to the team we look better when Sam's at S.O that's my opinion.

Well presented by Wigan post match, especially given that the real captain recieved the shield, but boy do we have to improve for this playoff gig?!?!?!

I had a bit of a panic before the game as I have lost my season ticket and had to go to the ticket office to get a ticket to get in.

Did anyone have a problem with the lager in the EastStand bar? I queued for over 20 minutes before the game and found a bloke returning his pint and when he got a replacement that was the same. Switched to Worthy's. Surely the club can serve beer quicker than that?

Don't care what any other club/supporter, guy in the street says about the shield, i fully enjoyed tonight and I'm so proud to be a Wigan fan.

Somebody a few rows in front of me came back late for the second half cursing the "shambolic" bar situation, massive queues and she had to get bitter instead of lager. This seems to be a regular, big crowd problem.

Personally I've given up buying booze at the stadium. It usually involves large queues, high prices and $h1t beer.
