He's equally good in both positions. Has mostly been on the wing in the reserves, mainly because we have Marsh & Thornley at centres.

Maybe so but I imagine Fox will still be disappointed that he didn't put the chance away, and that Morgan will have pulled him up about it in training when they look back at the game

Yes it was poor play by both to be fair, Fox didn't look too convincing going for that corner

| I don't see any reason as to why his loan period won't be extended. Though if it is extended I doubt Wigan will allow him to play for you against us.

| Barring an injury to Gleeson or Carmont I think Charnley will be at Hull until the end of the season

| Josh will most likely stay in Hull until the end of the year, with a condition that Wigan can recall him with 24 hours notice and he is unable to play in the game or games [depending on Playoffs] against us.

| I would extend his loan period till the end of the season so all 3 parties know where they stand. We have enough cover for the run in and the play offs. He would only need to come back if 3 outside backs got injured.

If its extended until the end of the season I think you will find you cannot stop him playing, if its for a stated period, like a month, you can dictate. I hope he can stay until the end of the season, he is a cracking player and will benefit from his experience.
I know its unlikley, but if we met you at Old Trafford, would thye ban him from playing. That would be harsh.

Isn't it the opposite to that?
I was under the impression that the first month you couldn't recall them at any time, but you could at 24 hours notice after that. Didn't we do that with either Tuson or Ainscough (or both) when they were at Cas?

I am sure that if a player is loaned until the END of a season, rather than on a month to month basis his parent club cannot stop him from appearing against them. You might well be right about a recall though, not sure on that one.

| How long have Carmont and Gleeson got left on contracts, and does anyone feel there is anything to the Shenton speculation.

| Carmont is out of contract end of this season but has negotiated a further year which it looks as though he will stay for 2011.
Gleeson is here until the end of the 2012 season.
Shenton has signed for Saints.

The recall period is one month, so we can't recall him during that initial month-long loan spell.
However, after that, we can stipulate any recall period that suits us (the club that holds the player's registration).
And as for him being allowed to play against us - We (Wigan) stipulate whether he can or not. Basically, the contract is in our favour, as we are the club who are "helping out" by loaning our player to Hull KR.
In every other case this year, we have stipulated that the player may NOT play against us, and I would fully expect this to continue in Josh's case.
