Maybe he did, maybe he didn't pick Feka for a good reason, I honestly truthfully don't know. He doesn't strike me as the kind of guy to just not pick a player because he doesn't like him though, so if he got it wrong, i'm at least confident that he (and Wane) believed it was the right choice.

| We would have been a lot stronger with Feka and maybe even Davies on the bench IMO. Four props with proper rotation. The coaching staff obviously have their reasons for shutting the door on Feka this season but everyone can see we lacked go forward tonight.

| Not to mention the ridiculous knock ons, 2 from Fielden and Prescott (although there are probably more) and 3 from Gleeson!

I think the knock ons were understandable given the conditions and the impact in each hit up. Happened to more than just those 3

| Still wouldn't give feka a go, prefer mossop and tuson for their work rate, feka is still a liaility.
Bit worried our enforcer prop went missing in parts again in a big game.
Wire dominated our pack through the middle, they were extremely enthusiastic in defence and were generally more up for it.

When we have the ball, Feka is a better option than Mossop and Tuson. When we dont have the ball Mossop/Tuson are the better option. Madge and Wane are obviously more defence minded coaches.

Really don't think Fielden went missing, he copped a shoulder to the jaw and suffered the fatigue of 3 'big' men tacklers per hit up and it took its toll (with no Coley or O'Carroll to share it with). He clearly wasn't 100% right after that shoulder, but we had no choice at the time but to make him keep working. Left roberts on, Riddell played on etc. Was a tough attrition game and we missed some size and experience to cope with it.

Took the words right out of my head, he was our only proper prop on the field etc.
although i'll never hear a bad word against Stuart, he could drop every ball and miss every tackle and i'd still admire him hahaha

| Fielden didn't want to know after he took the huge hit from ben harrison, this shown by the amount of ball he turned over. he was to busy looking at the defence then keeping his eye on the ball.

| Quote: Gazwire "I'm over the moon tonight and we played really well. There were some great hits from both sides and to be fair the game could of gone either way.
I thought we were fortunate with a few key decisions and that 2nd half burst you had could/should have taken you further. Any game agains't saints,
leeds and wire (although we can't beat saint's for toffee) are hinged on minor incidents in the game like your near try with roberts foot just in touch.
6 months ago it was gutting when you beat us- especially as it was so close. It was so close tonight. Maguire has worked magic this season and in
the play offs you'll have a few players back and some of the injured back in full fitness. There's hardly any difference between the top 4 sides. Hull,
if they get their pack to full fitness, kr, hudds are all dangerous sides on their day. Another day another result. i'm really chuffed at the mo, same
i guess as you were 6 months back. there's a long way to go. saints will have eastmond and pryce back for the play offs. Leeds should have a fair
few back. Super league the best sport.'"
most unbiased post ive read,as he said anyone can still win at old trafford,

Excellent post. Wire were the better side side last night but there's nothing between the teams.
Great game again.

The future's bright, The future's Tomkins!!
Keep Wigan "Wigan"
Especially playing at Wigan which is a real home of Rugby League.”QUOTE : Cameron Smith 27/10/09.: |

| Best team won, IMO our bench was too light, to keep Deacon on the bench for 73 minutes was no piont having him there, IMO Feca would have given a little more punch going forward,
A well chissled wire team with a great game plan, bring on the next couple of weeks.

| I thought this might happen when Coley was ridiculously suspended for two games. We weren't good enough in the forwards coming into the season. We couldn't afford to have injuries and suspensions weaken them further and expect to win.
I was mostly gutted last night because I have a lot of money on Wigan winning the league. A win last night would have put us 6 points clear and I could relax. Now it's anybody's game.
