23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

| Could go either way, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's a clear ( 10-20 points) victory - hopefully for Wigan!

| Wigan 18 v 22 Wire
Att 23,100
MOM: Morley
Our pack is looking a bit leightweight, not much to come off the bench after the first 20 mins. And looks like its going to rain which points towards a forwards battle. If we can stand up to them and match them in the forwards we will win by 6-10 points.

Not much wrong with this assessment IMO. Has Feca actually degenerated so much that he can't get a game with half our props missing? If so, I'd like to have seen Davies brought in.

| I always dread the games against the likes of Leeds, Saints and Warrington and i think it will end in a Warriors defeat but i can see it being close. Amos Roberts needs to get back to form!!!

| No idea!!!! Everytime I think about how the game could go, I come up with a different outcome!
That said I am going to go with this:
Wigan 26 Wire 19.
MOM: Pat.
I agree with a lot of posters, in the forwards we look a bit light against the Wire forwards, but in the backs I think we have the edge, the key for me is holding our own in the forwards, I think our back line has enough class to take us home.

| not confident, with Coley we still would not have the pack they have, they ran all over us at the Halliwell, if it was not for Briers going off we would have lost and lost well.
on paper they are the best team in super league, think we will get beaten well which is depressing
i really hope I am wrong but of all the teams in SL this is them I fear most and they have point to prove having not beaten any of the big boys this season.
the weather also does not help as it will make a fast game difficult and it will become more attritional up front.

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

| No more than two points in it I reckon. Could come down to the bounce of A ball or a little bit of luck

They've been leaking a fair few points recently and we've been pretty good offensively. Like everyone my only concern is getting overrun upfront, overcome that and we'll win.

| We need to play with the freedom which we did in the second half at the HJ.
Speaking to hansen after the catalan game he new what was needed and boy did he mention that the lads are ready for this week.
Our pack only looks weak of the bench, however with mossop coming on we do have a big unit on the bench.
We play with freedom like we did against them in the second half and I reckon it will be a big test for their defence which has leaked points over the last couple of weeks.
Wigan 32-20 Warrington
First try: Goulding
Last try: S.Tomkins
MOM: Riddell
