Seems harsh given the lack of consistency with other similar incidents in the last couple of years. Sending off and a match seemed about right.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Not sure he can appeal - as he pleaded guilty - as per the RFL report posted earlier.
Not sure it will have a huge bearing on the game, he's not Tomkins or Richards etc, and whether Wigan win or lose, will probably have little affect on them still finishing top. Just my opinion of course!

Just what I expected, but we are not a one man team, still beat Wire, with Mossop and Hansen to get another game this week.

Shows what a joke the RFL are. There have been 100s of tackles like Coleys all season gone unpunished, without even penalties being given in some circumstances. Even when theyve been cited but missed by the ref theres been no further action taken!!
Yes it was high and indefensible, but its the inconsistency thats a joke.
OK if their getting tough thats fine, but as long as leeds/ saints / wire players are treated the same. Problem is they wont........... When you see players like peacock purposley go head hunting tomkins in the cup game as a tactic, and this goes unpunished, yet coley gets banned for an unintentional, albeit reckless tackle!!
The RFL are pathetic
