Turn the table and lets say wigan won it in the last minute at the saints end and a wigan player goaded the fans.... I'm pretty sure the outcome would be the same. every club has idiots like this and i hope the people responsible are caught and made an example of. I'm in no way condoning it, but if you goad fans like that then something is bound to happen.

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't - I don't remember it happening at KR but you don't have to think back too far for an example of Wigan fans throwing objects at players . . . . |

There is a bloody big difference between throwing beer, which is unnaceptable, and getting punched in the face and having your shirt set on fire. |
