I missed the show. Did it give a better view of Pryces last try. As I said from where I was sat I thought he had scored.

What a terrible program. You'd have thought they could have shown more rugby to fill the time rather than talking about cracket or what-ever it is. I mean good luck to King with it, well done for inventing something, but seriously I watched today to watch Rugby League, not him and hicks hit a ball.

Pryce's fourth try I thought he was in touch for sure, but they showed one angle and moved on. A few replays would have been nice.

It' s a farce to be perfectly honest but darn me and my principles, I just can't get my conscience to allow me to pay for Sky. Gration is useless and his bias towards the Yarksure teams is hilarious, Leeds in particular.

I know other teams fans are going to give me stick for this but the media hammer us consistently, the level of professional jealousy because of the past still lingers; if it ain't Harry, Robbie and Iestyn, it's Stevo and Eddie. Most of the papers last year took great delight in us being on the scrap heap, now they constantly bemoan our 'technique' and if that plonker wire fan who writes for the times makes reference to the technique or the harsh way we got rid of Noble again, there may be consequences!

Back on topic, I feel it's a shame that they don't get Balding to host it (as I do think she is fairly good, bearing in mind she's not known as an RL fan) and actually make a bit of a thing about it. Play it on the Sunday evening on BBC2 and spend a bit of cash. Have watched ITV coverage of kick and clap and tbf it is far better quality.

It looks very much in touch to me and a superb tackle from Thomas. It doesn't even look like he grounded it on the line.

Thomas' defence looks very suspect for the other three tries of his though.

Having watched it two things puzzled me.

Why make a game that finished 68-12 and was never a contest the main focus of the show? IMO the Catalans v Salford game should have been the main game with the lion's share of coverage. Surely watching two teams battle it out for a 14-22 final scoreline would have been of better entertainment value and would promote the competition better than seeing one team get a shellacking. The fact that Salford and Catalans are at the bottom end is irrelevant if the game was closer.

Also as Gration said that the highlights of today's 4 games will be added to the repeat at stupid o'clock, why then did they not just wait to broadcast the show at all until monday as they did last week, instead of broadcasting a version with most games missing to the only audience that are likely to watch it then tacking on a bit more to a show that nobody will stay awake to watch.

I think I just watch it to rant nowadays at the ridiculous inaccuracies. Harry pink sweater said last week that Wigan will surely hit a run of injuries soon like other teams... Does the whole first team have to be declared dead before we have an injury crisis?

I always miss the sl show because they screw around with the times so much. Is it any wonder it may not get many viewers when the show doesnt even have a regular and sensible time slot.

I seem to remember ITV doing something decent about the championship a year or two ago? let them have it!...

its a disgrace, not even half the games played and they have a highlights show! yet sometimes its on a monday night, why not all the time.
And i agree with the above poster, i always miss it due to the times constantly changing, i turned it on on sunday to check the times on my sky schedule, and it was bloody half way through!!!
its like the bbc dont care and they just slot it in anywhere they can, wherever is free, even the politics show and that stupid church thing comes first!

It goes in turns, when Milward was in charge we had to have the worst luck with injuries, lockers broken leg and others springs to mind. Hull had that last season and seem to be at it again. Point is hopefully we won't from the past but more importantly apart from Amos and Phelps MM rotates the players admittidly when it is poor form but the players must be feeling fresher from it.

I thought that myself. Not sure how many points we need to be clear by at the halfway stage of the season to be considered "The Real Deal". Eddie keeps asking the guests on Boots N All if it's time for us to be taken seriously
