A loan spell at a SL club would do him a world of good you cannot expect loads of enthusiasm if you know you are playing under 20s week in week out. Get him out on loan to some club that needs a Centre or winger.
isnt that what we need at the mo?

And who has told you he is on £75K per year?
Give the lad a break. If and when he gets a game support the lad whist he is at Wigan. Why do we have to have a scapegoat at Wigan.
Roberts, Fielden and Piggy last year, and now Pryce without him even having a game.
We even had a poster on here going on about him leaving the field with a cut mouth in a reserve game. What he didn't say was that Pryce went in got, it stitched and then came back on to play in the second row.
And then there was the classic "he's not interested" after he chased back 40 metres, tackled the opposition player over the try line and held him up to prevent him scoring a try.

I agree with your sentiments, but the lad seems to have dropped off the first team radar altogether this year.
I can only assume this is because the coaching staff are not satisfied with him.
I wish he'd rediscover the form he showed at Bradford, but the chance of this is surely decreasing with each week he's absent.
The extent of his coaching is ''BASH EM, JUST F*CKING BASH EM. HE'S LOW ON CONFIDENCE, BASH HIM''
He's a limited coach that won't last long term.[/quote:8f22o6ue]
That would make Wigan strong favourites then. With Ratchford at FB and Patton with Cronk in the halves, I think we'll do very well without Sam.[/quote:8f22o6ue]: |

| i feel for the lad, god help him if he comes in, plays on the wing and scores some of the trys goulding has done. getting the ball no more than 2 meters from the line and falling over it. pryce would be slated saying all he can do if fall over the line. i have heard someone saying this earlier this seaon when pryce scored a few in the u20 games. from what i here he finished off some moves from short distance. then people say that he only got the trys from others good work. but that could be said for alot of gouldings trys this season.
i hope he proves alot of people wrong. but more than that, i hope that he gets a chance, and he is given a fair crack at it by the fans. pre-season they got on his back when he played and got injured, when it was supposed to be a clean slate for everyone.

I wouldn't say he's dropped off the first team radar at all; hes just not had the chance to prove his worth considering the form the lads have been in.
would you have him on the wing over goulding?
would you drop an experienced player in bailey, who is having a decent season, for pryce?
He will get a run out at sheffield and needs to take that chance to try and keep his place for the quins game.

| Rogues as you have said those players last year were not as good. The problem is Pryce doesn't seem to be getting any better, worse in fact. The main problem as far as I can see watching him in the u20's is he is not interested. Sorry to repeat the (not interested) bit but I do beleive this.

Can you please explain if he is not interested why he would chase back 40 metres, and hold the opposition player up to prevent the try?

| Rogues we will just have to agree to disagree here before we get into the my dad is bigger than your dad scenario. I hope you prove me wrong (I doubt it) for his sake.

I hope I'm right but I don't know. All I am saying is that you are judging him on two reserve team games, and making a comment about one swallow doesn't make a summer. You can't have it both ways.
He's second top try scorer for us at reserve level so far.
If he gets in the first team then he will get my support. As for the £75K I'll ask again where did you get from or would you like to retract it.

There's no denying that it would be difficult for anyone to force their way into the current first team, even given the sudden rash of injuries. But the Karl Pryce of his Bradford days would have been there or thereabouts. I barely even hear him mentioned in despatches these days.
That's not to say I don't want to - I do, I'm just concerned that he never seems to be in contention.
