Sam Tomkins wasnt poor at all. He did well with all his kicks, made some vital tackles and made a couple of breaks near the end that helped wrap up the game.

Are you joking ? Every kick went striaght into Leon Pryce's bread basket and he dident have to move. He was very poor today (As was Kyle Eastmond for us). Bother never got involved and both got shut down as soon as they got the ball.

1 - What does not going to the game have to do with anything?
2 - YOU think Richards was our best player today. Clearly most of US don't.
3 - Sam made several crucial tackles today, was good in pass pressure and made two excellent linebreaks when we looked about to collapse.

Whilst Sam's long distance kicking was pretty poor, he was the most dangerous half back on the pitch. He also made some very good short kicks to keep pressure on Saints.
top 3 for me:
Mossop
Locky
S Tomkins

A lot of them kicks were from Tommy not Sam. Sam stood up today and hardly put a foot wrong.

| Whats with the Sam Tomkins saviour fans ? His a very good player but to say he had a good game is just plain wrong! His kicking game was atrocious tonight. He made 2 line breaks at the death that came to nothing. One of which was a shocking kick into the corner.
Poor.

If having a go at Tomkins helps you get over a defeat against Wigan in the last ever derby at Knowsley road then you go for it!
The facts are he went into the game carrying an injury which limited his involvment a touch imo. He still had a storming game in defence and had Matt Gidley in his pocket with some awesome ball n all cover tackles.
Leuluai was our main culprit when it came to poor kicking.

I'm not having a go. Im just stunned as to why so many fans have picked him out as a M.O.M candidate.

A special mention has to go to jon wilkin though with all the penalties he seemed to gave away. All he was missing was a wigan shirt
