However the last two weeks it has returned to the bore fest that it was last year. It seemed like we was getting it right for the new term then the standards slipped a bit.'"
Strange your comments coincidence with when Wigan have been winning.

Hopefully, Wigan v Leh at the DW so we can do what we did to Whitehaven a couple of years back. Then let Basil come back and say that Super League's doomed.
Wait, I can hear a drinks order... Pint of bitter for Mr Millward.

Even stranger is the fact that he's a Leeds fan.

Where? Bradford? Cas?
I can't see any of the other clubs having reason to change coach and IMO it would be a bit harsh if either of those two did anyway.
Either way I can't understand why any SL club would employ Milllward again. While he may have been stitched up getting the boot from Saints he gave them the ammunition and it must be common knowledge how he lost the dressing room here big time and seemed powerless to turn things around.

The club who are rumoured to be losing their coach will not be sacking him, he will move on to the vacant England seat. All I have heard is rumours but they do seem to be pretty solid ones.

You dont have to appoint for a job if there is no suitable candidates, and I dont think Kear is a suitable candidate for the post. Did a terrible job last time with better players IMO. It would only be beaten to worst decision of the season, by Wakefield appointing Millward.
Again all my opinion, but I never think you should move backwards in sports, and Kear would be exactly that.

I understand what you're saying but how do we play Internationals with no one in charge?

Dont know to be honest, but he cannot be the only person to apply, can he? I suppose they could give him a one "season" contract ie just the length of the four nations, and see how it goes from there. However i still dont think we need a full time coach. However he isnt going to give up a full time job at wakefield for that.
And im not convinced that coach should be english either. I think the best coach we have had was David Waite.
However an anyone will do attitude isnt right either, typical of the RFL to cock it up though!

I totally agree and I can't imagine it's as well paid as a club job. For that reason you're not going to get a top appointment so I'd make it a part time job and get the best man for the job.
