Is there a place for Phil Bailey this week? He didn't do much wrong last week, but I would argue that Mossop, Hansen, Tomkins are all playing at much higher level.

For those who didn't get the chance to read it, it basically said that Shaun Ainscough has returned to Wigan this week after his fine form at Widnes. Paul Cullen gave him plenty of praise and Terry O'connor thanked Wigan and hoped that he might return in a Widnes shirt in 2010.

good call it could well be.

that was my thinking. i dont think carmont is playing as well as he could either. he was far better at the end of last season, and under the new management, you have to play at your best to keep your place.

No mention of any injuries from MaGuire. However Carmont had a torrid time against Chris Bridge.

I wouldn't be adverse to giving Goulding a game if Carmont has a problem.

Carmont's a classy player, but I agree he wasn't at his best at Wire.

You have to wonder if the fact that we shift the ball around more now takes something away from him, as our only real attack last year for long parts was on the left hand side. Most of our play went that way which meant Carmont got a lot more of the ball than he's seen this year (so far).

Good news if true, I noticed Hansen was having problems with his right shoulder when he came down to the fans at the end of the game, he could hardly move it, a result of the big shot from Morley in the last minute probably.If you watch the SKY pictures at the hooter he is on the floor and gets helped up, fingers crossed its nothing bad.

We don't know the injury situation. It could be that Carmont, Gleeson or ANO have picked up injuries.

It makes sense if so to recall Ainscough, let's use the system as it was intended.
