| Who's Ged Burn?
There was a Ged Byrne who played for Wigan and coached a few years ago.
Doubt they are relations though.

| I would say pushed. He was offered a new contract on a much smaller salery. So he did not have much of a choice IMO . At the moment they got an amature coach looking after things. i presume on a very temp basis.I have been told the fitness training is great under the new regim, but the skills training under the temp coaches is dire and very amature. The lads going into the final year that have been under pendlebury for last couple of seasons think its awful.

That's not good. Let's hope for an announcement soon.

| How about Martin Hall?
If he would come back to Wigan.
He's done an excellent job at Halifax although he is now Director of Rugby.
Given his knowledge of the Champ league he would be a good man to know which players would be ready to go out of Wigan for experience to further their development.

This surprises me, as my lad is in the academy, he enjoyed the training last year under John, but he says this years training has been really good so far as it mirrors the first teams training program. And he has also mentioned that the new coaches who are in place, are very good.

| What about Paul Sculthorpe?
Maybe even Forshaw would be an outside bet.
We could bring in another fitness coach then couldn't we?

Scully would be a great shout IMO
the lads would respect him just as much as a farrall or rads.
